you once lit my way
down the dark halls of despair
i fall down & get back up
search for you in the darkness
but you're no longer here
your poetic soul
fed me lust & passion
then slipped away one day
just let go of me
you no longer feel me
i stopped reaching for you
in my fantasies
where i hid
i made a whole world
where there was a you & i
just to crash into reality
of waking up with a stranger
making the void even deeper
i search for you tonight
because i ache for you poet
can you hear me calling?
as i pull the fabric of existence
searching for your essence
a taste on the wind
that you still linger
come to me in love with another
come to me broken & bleeding
but tell me you still feel me
