adopted mother was not a perfect
mother by a long shot. Last line of
course was fantastic!

This piece gripped my heart..... Such a sad place when you have all these hurt feelings and strong emotions and can't release them or ask questions because the person is no longer here..... I know your mother is no longer here but perhaps you can write a letter to her and read it out loud expressing all the things you wanted to say and couldn't or didn't and just for a moment close your eyes and use your imagination she is answering you back.. Then tear up the letter which in return will help release some of the pain..... I would also suggest you becoming what that little girl in you needed so bad and that is love and acceptance.... You are worthy of love and you are here in this world because you were meant to be - always remember that sweet one..... Hugs...

thank you Savvy One for the love you've shown me on this write those are wonderful suggestions.. I was a teen when she passed & had all these conflicted feelings about her.. I think in part i'm afraid of fully embracing her & what she may say.. I will give the letter a try & see if that helps me better release her to be at peace & peace for me as well.. love & hugs.. You are so welcome my dear one.... That's hard when she passed so long ago... But, I think at times because we don't know our mind sometimes comes up with things to fill the blanks in and often times it isn't always the positive.... So your fear and your confliction has kept you hostage. Yes give it a try and write everything down and read it out loud. Place a chair in front of you as if she was sitting there and just speak to that chair and I pray you find some sense of closure and peace in letting her and the pain go... I pray much comfort to you. ~BSavvy

I have known the sadness of this pain for so long, it only went away, for me, when I stopped seeking answers :-(
