The Moment I Loved Him
He's fallen asleep and unable to sleep
I had rolled over and was playing a game
A silly game on my phone, waiting for him
To wake up, roll over and tell me I'm a brat
Because I wasn't sleeping, instead playing a game
But he didn't do that... He woke up and
He reached for me and pulled me to him
He rested my head on his shoulder, so safe
And it was that moment, his sleepy embrace
That I knew... I loved him more than hated him
I had rolled over and was playing a game
A silly game on my phone, waiting for him
To wake up, roll over and tell me I'm a brat
Because I wasn't sleeping, instead playing a game
But he didn't do that... He woke up and
He reached for me and pulled me to him
He rested my head on his shoulder, so safe
And it was that moment, his sleepy embrace
That I knew... I loved him more than hated him
