Soul Journey
Seemingly damned
dark voyage unknown
soul on its knees
seeking solace
believing alone
kindred spirit
casting light upon a path
warm comfort
cordoned my spirit
from death’s looming wrath
certain of grace
I’ll endeavour the eternal quest
soulful trek
now pursued
at my own behest
although eager
the journey shall not be swift
no regal course
on tardy currents
but at last I am adrift
