I.River Rock  II. Komorebi ( two pieces honoring Nature's Beauty)

Crystalline pebble
in shallows sparkles.
River's secrets polished
oval oracle divine--
fingers seek wisdom,
from palm to pocket
                 coveted treasure

        (And)

II.

Komorebi....
with timid leaves
sly sunbeams play
hide-and-seek.
Through supple branches
breezes sigh melodies;

shadows waltz beneath...

Author's notes:  Komorebi is a Japanese word that translates to:  Sunlight filtering through tree branches,

Both of these pieces are in celebration of the (extra)ordinary beauty that can be found in the simple things nature has to offer,  They were created for the "Do You Ever Ponder Over Shit That Shapes Itself?"
