Music Makes me Feel
Rythme and beat, intoxicating
Feel the music in your veins
If you're stuck in your head
Then the beats won't bang
With all that I've got I sing
Something gets in the way
Nothing I can explain
What else to do when confidence fades?
Music always makes me whole again
Strumming like an animal
Getting all the anger out
But there's something more inside
Why not give the world a surprise
Next time I open my eyes
I want to see the beauty inside
The love and the pain
Balance out for inner peace ...

Pulled and twisted until my heart gave out
Making my wonder why I kept trying
Slipping in my hands was the one true treasure
Letting it go is the one true displeasure
A sparkle of light shines through my hands

Hell is made of Hallways
Back to the place where it all began
The place where difference shouldn't be so bad
Where the simple soul goes to learn and grow
Grow into something more mature
Back to the place where alienation still exists
One false move and you might as well not
The whole world can seem against your very being
Because you just wanted to have something
Hypocrisy and lie fill the morbid air
People can smile, but know what's really there
Judgment and hatred fill the soul
The people who tell tales of trusting
Are really just full of themselves
...

A child loves to write
All you say or do is in vain

Trapped in the Hate
The vision will never be the same
A land once plentiful and loved
Now apocalyptic and disdained
Through the loathing and the pride
I know now I can never be rid of the demons inside
The rage and the hatred can't stay
But for everyone else it's all the same
Day by day I begin to infuritate
I know this doesn't mean a thing
I will be stuck in my self loathing cage
But I'm not the one who swallowed the key
