Settling Dusts on a Misty Day

looking up...blue sky traversed by silver wings
I once knew that I could face the depth
of its blueness and swim the golden sea
turned to this hue by the setting sun

I once knew I could dive from the lighthouse
and had faith in my belief that I could land
like gossamer feathers by the seashore
safe and well, rejoicing on the warmth of the sand

I know that I was once well loved
so much emotions cocooned within
that desire to meet and greet
to catch a snowball thrown at a tree

the sounds of shared laughter
still echo and rebound...
caught in the settling dusts
dewdrops still drips on a misty day..
