sin

I scattered my sin to the winds
it picked them up
a mean vortex formed
swirling hungry in its force

taking souls along the way
contorted took on a life of its own
the abyss opened
out poured demons who were at rest
disturbed out of slumber
they devoured all in their path
biting, slashing and cutting

innocent onlookers were thrashed about
tossed aside by this angry beast
I scattered my sin to the winds
it picked them up
a mean vortex formed
swirling hungry in its force
taking souls along the way

I opened Pandora's box
in my hands I hold regret
what's done can't be undone
feel drained this monster appears to have fangs
drank my life's blood left empty
pick up and walk on
bare witness to all of the casualties along the way

the abyss opened
out poured demons who were at rest
disturbed out of slumber
they devoured all in their path
biting, slashing and cutting
