Margaret River

The airport swallowed me up and spat me out.
Twenty-three hours, nine thousand miles.
Greenery, waves, seasons
reversed…rain.
Surf, sun, friends and lovers.
Airport goodbyes;
Watching a plane on a map
Grow further from one home, and closer to another.
