Sacred Contracts XIX: Morning

You've lived.

Perhaps you've lived
to harvest; or, possibly plow
the fields again.

Maybe you've lived
to Water something dormant,
or pull tares from wheat.

Perhaps you've lived
to be grateful for something (or one)
in your life.

Or, for those carrying
sacks of regret,

it's no more complicated than this:
You've lived for another chance.
