The Bogeyman
He only comes out at night
He loves to give a fright
He can be under your bed
Or get inside your head
Hell become whatever you fear
And that image he'll appear
He likes it when they scream
Inside his pants he will cream
He waits until you fall asleep
Then into your room he will creep
He's excited for his next scare
Boy or girl he does not care
It doesn't matter naughty or nice
Either or it will suffice
You can beg til your face turns blue
The bogeyman will still come after you
He loves to give a fright
He can be under your bed
Or get inside your head
Hell become whatever you fear
And that image he'll appear
He likes it when they scream
Inside his pants he will cream
He waits until you fall asleep
Then into your room he will creep
He's excited for his next scare
Boy or girl he does not care
It doesn't matter naughty or nice
Either or it will suffice
You can beg til your face turns blue
The bogeyman will still come after you

The big bad wolf wasn't bad enough? There's only one super hero I know who can peel away the layers of fear the bogeyman covers you in, his name is Poetryman... :)

it always worked, well up until she told me that the stories were just made up in order to make us behave - then and now I still retain the right to be as naughty as I like :-P

you are mean! but very skilled. Luckily, only Candyman had me afraid of mirrors and dark bathrooms
