we suffer, who love
when you read my poem, do it with nothing on.
nothing on your mind, & no cloth concealing the
fawn radiance of your skin.
I will step out of the poem & find you just like that,
timid & trembling in the cold air that follows me. you
will find my eyes tracing, with brewing desire, the
quiet nakedness of you, from your pent-up hair to your
concerned feet, attempting to hide in the sand.
in the soft light, I will know your eyes & their beauty, even
if you close them when I kiss you; & if you blush, the dusty
hue will blend with the colors of the ambering sky.
and as I watch you, gentleness is lost, & restraint. the
fingers of my passion reach for you till you feel their
angry fire. I must take you as I’ve taken you in my tainted
fantasies. my desperate craving is to hurt you, hurt you in
a carnal way – & there is nothing poetic in that.
you have told me of your fears, how you wept in the straw
hut of your solitude; how the choiring shadows could not
console you. even in the solitary universe that you wish us
into, you are not brave enough to be possessed in the prison
of my arms. even there, in that secret harbor, we will cry &
our wounds will not heal…
we are meant to suffer
for we are meant to love

Stunning piece. The reality of desirous love and the pain of loving, so clearly written here. My favorite one so far..

All we who love can hope is to find some meaning in the suffering, to survive and thus live to love again.
Beautiful write, John.

So vivid. As if she was there and you were describing her...telling her those things. The ending was just so vulnerable and honest and true. Excellent.

'I must take you as I’ve taken you in my tainted
fantasies. my desperate craving is to hurt you, hurt you in
a carnal way – & there is nothing poetic in that.' Gosh, there is such a depth here. I want to remain icy cold and say things that are constructive and you could take on board but this just isn't the time nor the place. You make me want you, you sell this terribly well and there's such an ache for something great and eternally-binding. This is beautiful and an epic thing to join the reading list.

You must get published, You are one of the greatest writers i have ever read from...
You poetry is, if not better than EAPo, and all the other famous poets!
Your poetry is so good one can only wonder why you're not at Barnes and Nobles and other great venues!!
I adore this ink because it really showcases your desire to love and be soft...

Feddler..Feddler... . I am starting to... well this lady that has you imbibing her well, in so many ways & you know the kinkiness of it all? it's not the typical ordinaire dull fleshly glow that given & taken, oh no .. for it is that of a rebirth in each touch & blow you sign on her. & she doesn't have to await her turn.... ... . she's your sensual focul
I can sense you are a inspiration of inner & outtre dwellings from past to present.. but when someone else has inspired you to write, you must have of many pleasures to get it all out thru possibilities.. & thru ink blotting.
This is so fucking adoring & sexy because .. ...but someone must be the sufferers in this world & it is us who lives in this. gateway
.. It is something which made me realize that we must be going thru the same things together in this very moment of our lives, for I do see twins in flames. So must form the sounds just to say.. this has never happened to me before with another, in depths of powerfulness, its instinctively distinguishments
--- -
....but... when coming across the so fucking passionate about whatever it is until it pleasurably hurts..until all of bursts or becomes minced ..
do not mistake me loves we're not only referring to cunts & cocks because they swell, cum & go... I mean the whole of us
Nothing compares my Knight ..Nothing
Now with all of that being said.or rambled without choice .. I am a submittance of subtlety which appreciates so deeply your obtuseness, until the point it brings upon me melancholy & true happiness.. a very very Rare thing.. to even say 'Rare' feels a bit foolish ..feels a bit elementary but my elements says otherwise
A taste of sweet hell & heaven you give everytime, damn you my Cherished.. damn you.. forevermore

Sheesh what a clever opening! Had I been wearing a shirt when I read it, I'd be tempted to take it off! :)
"from your pent-up hair to your
concerned feet, attempting to hide in the sand." Brings to mind an image of someone so insecure and unsure of themselves, and yet, the rest of the poem aims such ardor at them it seems it's a "You don't know you're beautiful" sort of situation.
Sultry and seductive. Well done!

how the choiring shadows could not console you... I love this line, such desperation and darkness. Another beautiful, sexy piece.

What a gorgeous write!
'And as I watch you, gentleness is lost and restraint. The fingers of my passion reach for you till you feel their angry fire.'
I absolutely love it. Spoken as someone who has been lucky enough to feel love's true unquenchable passion.
Bravo John!
