Another day, another sunrise
another moment, I sit n' cry

n' I don't why, because a love
I thought I knew, was nothing
but a lie...

At once it grew, this interest
into a wonder, she  cast a mighty
spell n' before I knew my heart
fell all asunder...

Another night, another dusk til
dawn, I die awake, cryin' lakes
into the pillows I lay upon...

The years they've pasted
like light beams across the sky
still, I can't forget the love-shots
I'd take like dope, was truly nothin'
but a lie...

Another morn' I yet mourn
chasin' shadows in the mist
I'll worry on 'bout a false love
worn, likely wear it til I die
what a fool this shattered
heart is, every hopin'
'that distanced love'
will one day, still my cry...
