If Not For Love

We hunger for its pulse and we starve 'til it comes but for three fourth's of a century, I've never found any money, fame or possessions to equal its impact upon arrival or replace its emptiness when it's gone. It's indeed a rollercoaster but isn't it amazing how we humans are willing to stand in line for a lifetime just to catch a ride, even when all our hair is gone and our teeth are missing and the arthritis weakens both legs. thank you so much I have found these simple words
to be true so many times. I've had money and plenty
of splendid possessions I'm truly ashamed to mention
what all I have owned at one time or another. I was one hell of a hustler when I was young and money seemed like it was floating in the air for me. None of it brought me any peace or love, maybe some fake happiness from knowing you accomplished something that was out of reach for many people especially poor boys and I was always honest I am proud of that part is about all it brought me however none of it brought me any real love only fake love. I never even knew any love
until I stopped chasing money. this is a sad thing to say about ones life and know its true
