books and thoughts

These books keep stacking
yet none have the answer
that I seek to attain
they merely speak a story

A story of a boy
flying in the sky
a philosopher asking questions
claiming to know nothing

These words serve a purpose
to those who read in between
all speak a truth
for the ones who need it

Yet for things unknown
they are but mere tools
for us to discover
what lies in the soul

Claiming ignorance
will get me nowhere
but I will not know all
no matter what I read

Yet I can seek within
to find an explanation
words may fail me
but feelings never will
