The Great And Tiny Leviathan

A Small Tropical fish
From fresh waters
Cast into a salt water ocean.
Into a pack of hungry piranha jaws
The fish wound up.

Two,  two choices.
Eat or be eaten,  kill or be killed.
Ever spurred on by the fear,
The former was chosen.

The tropical fish killed a piranha,
Dissected it,
Learned what made one tick,
Learning to become a predator,
Becoming  one
To protect ones self.

Piranha still have predators though
And this one knew that...,
He must climb,
Climb to the top
to ever be safe.
And so kill again it would.

Tiger Shark,
Great White,
Megaladon,
Giant Squid,
Kracken.

Finally the tropical fish
The changeling In disguise,
Evolving to protect itself.
It was the top or so it seemed.

The fish sat upon a throne,
A throne of blood.
King of the sea,
A great beast....
Leviathan.

But!!!
The fish held Leviathan in title only.
A small tropical fish which frightened all.
Except....
The human who knew not,
Of the mighty little fish of which the whole sea trembled.
Who cast a net.
And caught
The Leviathan.

In the net
were a few final thoughts
What in the end
Asside from being caught,
Had this fish accomplished?,
Fighting for life?
A Purpose for life...
beyond survival?
Was there ever?
Surely.....
There was not.....
