Narcotic Delirium
You’ve been clean for weeks
Or so you say,
Your eyes were clear and clean
For a minute.
And then red again, thick and dark,
You stumble around, fumble, mumble,
Pull my shirt up, find my breasts
And put your mouth over my nipple
Your tongue sophisticated, conjuring,
Unfolding soft and sultry petals
And I can’t help but wonder
Where you’ve learned this
Who’ve you done this to before
And maybe I don’t care.
You are conjuring a violent ecstasy
That I fear you can’t appease.
Or so you say,
Your eyes were clear and clean
For a minute.
And then red again, thick and dark,
You stumble around, fumble, mumble,
Pull my shirt up, find my breasts
And put your mouth over my nipple
Your tongue sophisticated, conjuring,
Unfolding soft and sultry petals
And I can’t help but wonder
Where you’ve learned this
Who’ve you done this to before
And maybe I don’t care.
You are conjuring a violent ecstasy
That I fear you can’t appease.
