feel the rapid flow
of thinning blood.
a vicious beating
within the heart.
pumping the fluid
of sultry lust
warming the darkest soul.
with heavy breathing
comes a sinful desire...
tympany of heartbeats
ceiling fan whirling, a whispering ghost
outside, pulse of tropic rain
mournful song of night birds
shadow of palms caress sullen air
dance toward a candle with no flame
away from reality, within the painting of a dream
made for lovers...

It is vague and moody, but there's enough here to be evocative. "Dance toward a candle with no flame" is an interesting touch. A little different than the usual frolic around the fire. A little mystery. Even more in not spelling out what those "sinful desires" might be. This is a fine collaboration.
