Stranded

Throughout our lives hard times come and they go.
Even to those with pockets that overflow.
But many suffer greater than the rich mans load.
Like those who only wish for a place to call home.
We all take for granted what we don't even know.
The smallest of things like using a toilet bowl.
Something so simple yet soon comes to show.
To be without would bring problems down the road.
Wisdom comes to those that listen real close.
Never giving in to the corrupt and the cold.
Money runs dry from the taxes and tolls.
Prices come cheap to the willingly soul.
Upon being sold there is no leaving the hole.
Money weakens those who have plenty to blow.
No way of changing the selfish that grow.
If only they knew what was left from their goals.
Waded too deep in the void to control.
Happiness is much more than diamonds and gold.
Love should find them once the bitterness gets old.
The end will reveal what direction to go.
Soaring through the sky or blazing down below.
Your conscience will guide you when listening close.
Revealing a road to happiness and hope.
