Push Me
Push me to the limit
don't let me stop.
If I cry
push harder,
do not go easy
make it hurt.
If I quit
drag me back
kick my butt
call me out
let the sweat
burn my eyes,
make me feel
the burn inside.
In the end
you and me
we are one.

It's good to have that person who will push you in life. Kid gloves can cause long-term damage, really. People show you that they care by nicking you with that edge. It's not always nice, but it can lead to great positive effect. Good short piece, Hashman.

Ballerinas, yes. Runners, lifters, gymnasts - anyone who pushes beyond their comfort one to be better than they were.
