I really enjoyed this. Short and concise but thoughtful. My job gives me a lot of down time and it can be a blessing and a curse.

I think this is a good start. Brevity is fine, provided you have something interesting to say and can properly convey it. I think you should consider renaming it something less run-of-the-mill; if you type "Time" into the DU search you'll find hundreds of poems named that. Try for something which adds another layer of depth to the poem.
