Lost It

I've lost my mind again
And i can't remember where
I think it ran off with my heart
That thing that helps me care
It is difficult to be empty and still maintain control
The weight of the dark thing and it's needs
Are starting to take its toll
Nothing good can come from the things it will demand
I know it sounds crazy
But you just don't understand

I've lost my mind again
Running on autopilot now
I continue to function
Though I'm not quite sure how
I'm starting to wonder
How i can still go on
When the things i am supposed to need
Are completely gone
Somethings going to happen
I don't know when or where
There's no telling what it could be
But i know you should be scared
