The scribe
Studious scribe,
Tell me your life.
Pull out your heart,
And place it before me.
Let me see the gristle,
The scars.
Let it be,
As I have let you.
Come and go,
Write me a story...
So that I may find peace.
So that I may go,
Knowing there is one
Who has a common soul.

A Mindful Breath
I sit here in peace,
Rays of light warm my face.
The air is cold in my lungs...
I revel in this worlds grace.
I sit with friends,
Blue gold and silver,
We share the linings,
These clouds forever binding..
I breath in-
I dream of days to come.
My mind wanders as I begin to see...
From above, and from within.
I see myself there on the ground...
I see the city.
Far away and large.
I no longer have pity for myself.
I am grateful.
My mind connects thoughts
That were confusing in the past... ...
Rays of light warm my face.

There is an anger inside me
I want to kill it.
I want to drown it
I want to burn it.
What am I hiding
What plagues my soul.
I want love.
I am passionate...

Where am I?
So much darkness...
So much power...
Let me leave this place,

I cannot afford another failure.

Hear me
Come to me,
Oh savior queen.
Share this piece of fortitude-
This foundation is strong beneath me.
These arms are firmly with you...
My back has seen heavier days,
Long passed and accompanied with drowning eyes to match.
Heavy knees and heart gristled red...
I have been fed.
I have given feed-
to many lovers...
At least to me.
And none compare,
Oh angel queen.
Come to me.
I have all to offer,
And all is me.
That redness led me to you,
The weight is now negligible.
My heart can open only once more, ...

A Cliff
What can one man do
When faced with the edge of a cliff?
When desperation and passion substitute freely?
He can watch as the stars fall
He could step off into the darkness
He could give way to his Demons
And be blunted by the heavens,
Behind him, however,
A scene of no better figure
A destructive fire fueled by ignorance.
A toxic wasteland of gristling words
and forgotten hopes of humanity.
There is no middleground,
There is no way out....
...

The Dancer
She found God on tranquil shores.
The rain pouring down on waves...
Tears of ember...
A soul flying to the clouds-
Serenity embraced.
Mind altered.
Hate lost...
Faith now something real.
She began to feel it.
He watched from the depths.
Surrounded by monsters.
The water was cold,
And she was soothed.
A place he knew was safe.
For her.
From him.
From within...
And then she danced,
With the cadence of a flame.
The embers burst.
The fire consumed. ...
The rain pouring down on waves...
Tears of ember...

Tears in reality
Drugs are the reason.
I am convinced.
They are just masks
Pleasing
Minced. Thoughts
Broken smiles
Empty eyes.
How vile am i..
Am I repulsive?
Vague?
Do I have strength to beat this? Plagues.
Maybe soon I can leave
This constant shift in reality
Bring me relief...
Someone, please...
I am becoming afraid
I want to dull myself

I want to run.
This is the last chance,

Stairs
Stars
Ripples in time
Gravity of memories and thought,
Sublime.
Hold me together with your eyes.
Let me see through you.
Your soul is beautiful.
I cant let go.
I do not know.
Why, how, when.
My pen.

She looked at me with drowning eyes
And a heart on fire.
So we took to the skies and watched
As the lives passed below us.

I'm Ok
You asked me what I’d do….
You Asked me what I saw…..
Said you didn’t really Know me…..
And you said I’d lost it all.
And in five years time I’ll be "just fine".
I always am.
I’ll be hugging the cells of my cage
Yelling to god
with pain,
and love.
with all of my rage unleashed.
I’ll be wishing my life didn’t wash away
To the bottom of the river.
Muddy boots, sunk beneath the water
deeper still,
until time passes,
With all of our days

To have confidence in the truth,

Shadows and Light
Shadows and Light
" A faint clap of thunder
clouded skies
Perhaps rain comes
If so, will you stay here with me? "
He was a man revered,
able to dance behind the shadows,
and return to the light unscathed,
or so it seemed.
For to be able to drink from the
Cup of Evil,
and gain the devil's power,
there is no being who pays no toll.
