shadow dreams
Shadows dance around me,
I look all around.
I see nothing but darkness,
a sickening black fear.
I know that it's a dream,
I feel small and cold.
I see my fate,
I feel my death.
The same thing every night,
Why can't I change it?
I go through the motions,
I go through the pain of it all.
Watching everything
with clear details,
watching it all fly by me.
I see him again and again,
I feel his touch over and over.
my heart quickens
with each passing second,
My life shortens
with each night.
I watch helplessly ...
I look all around.
I see nothing but darkness,

I know that it's a dream,
I feel small and cold.
I see my fate,
I feel my death.

Why can't I change it?

ANGER POEM

Booduh
Big Brown Eye's look up at me,
I feel my heart breaking.
I stroke soft black fur,
and promise the world to him.
He Raises his little head and licks my hand,
Tears pour down my face.
'If you live I swear i will keep you'
I promise, I'll keep him with his other brother and sister.
I look into deep brown eyes knowing the truth.
I see him accept his little puppy fate,
My heart breaks as I watch him lay his head down.
I tell him I will be back,
He looks up at me one last time.
I wind up the music box,
I set it down and leave the room.

tears of a ghost child
I watch them, They walk among us.
Can you see them like I can??
Can you comfort the small children?
I watch their little blue eyes fill with tears.
They can't accept that they died,
They can't accept being alone.
I wish that for just one day everyone could see them.
That they could touch them.
those poor little ones a shimmer
of what they used to be.
Eyes turned blue due to lack of life,
Tears so cold that they feel like ice on my skin.
little body's seeking the warmth of a hug
or a simple embrace.
children torn from their lives so...
Can you see them like I can??

She Wolf
Skin naked and bare,
Living alone in a cave.
Am I human anymore?
Nothing is safe,
They hunt my people by day.
I hunt them by night,
I find him alone in a pond.
Perfect skin,
Hair glowing in the moon light.
A wolf on two legs,
His scent is sharp yet clear.
The pack will never aprove,
I want him to join us.
I want him to be like me.
I hear her behind me,
I can smell the earth under her feet.
Her heart beats fast,
I turn around and look at her.
golden eyes burn into my soul,
How can she stand there?
I stare at him...

Wolf cub
Lost,
Confused.
Pain ignites deep in my belly,
I can feel it deep inside me.
It's time!
Searching for a safe place.
A badger set looms before me,
Perfect.
Nothing lives there,
The time is now.
My sides constrict,
Here she comes.
The only one I have,
My preciouse cub.
My only baby!
my body feels as though
it is being torn apart.
After what seems like forever,
My perfect little one is born.
Soft as birds down white as snow,
The future of my pack is nursing next to me.
Confused.

Define Normal
Don't try and tell me i'm not crazy,
Don't lie to me and say i'm fine.
I know something is wrong,
I know something isn't right.
Running away from it all,
I run to a place where I can try.
Nothing is wrong with me,
What a laugh i'm insane.
I'm whats not right.
I am whats tearing me apart,
I am the thing that is causing this confusion.
Why can't they see that?

Ice Queen
Music pounding in my ears,
I look up at him.
Hair wild as his music,
Clothes grungy but clean.
I have known him for several monthes now.
In the spring we planted flowers,
that reached across the alley between our windows.
We curled up together in his bed watching movies,
we ate soup together when we had the flu.
Now I stare up at him in my fuzzy pink hat and my pink mittens trying to stay warm.
I see her moving through the crowd,
her features like ice.
I know she is a queen,
The queen of pain,
Destruction,
Ice!
I see it in her...
I look up at him.

Where do I belong?
What am I doing?
How can I let myself do this?
I have lost my body to the world,
My heart to a man I do not deserve.
Am I really like my sister?
I need to know what to do,
I need someone to guide me.
Maybe I am cursed,
Or do I need to just close my eyes and wait.
My family doesn't understand me,
My friends aren't real.
I am alone in a world where I do not belong,
I should have faded with time.
Again I am here waiting to live out yet another life.
How many must I go through?
How many times must I suffer,
How many times must I cry?...
How can I let myself do this?

Look for me in the shadows,

where I am even when I do not.

ANGER POEM

27 April 2011......
Tears stain the paper as I write this,
Fear grips my heart knowing
you will never read these words.
I shouldn't have said I hated you,
I know now tht I should have told
you that I loved you before I hung up.
Looking now at the tomb stone,
Tears burn my eyes with the words
I wanted to say but never got the chance to.
I loved you even though
you made me feel so unwanted,
Each passing year it hurt more and more.
The phone call I would wait for once a year
knowing that once I picked up the phone
heard your voice...

Lost
his voice is heard in my dreams,
he says I can be free.
I cannot understand why he says this,
I am shackled by my very fears.
his touch lingers,
no matter how many lives we go through.
I feel like am a part of him,
I can smell his scent.
Iknow him and yet I have not met him before.
He is a part of me,
I can see him when I close my eyes.
