Rebirth
Buds on the trees
Beauty on her knees
As she awakens me
She’s steady
A wonderful surprise
My morning sunrise
At attention and ready
A special way to start the day
Spring has sprung
I can see the sun
Beyond the leaves
Is this a wet dream?
I haven’t had one of those since I was 13
Should I wake up?
Or will that make it end?

The place where life begins
She takes her time and licks

From stick to fruit

In the Moment
Have you ever stopped to realize
That you were in a moment?
And enjoyed every second
Before that time was spent?
We always look back to whenever it was
With fond memories and regret,
That we miss that time period in our lives
Or place, or people that we’ve met.
Old friends in school years
Before we grew up and life changed us all.
Maybe a job we had or your first apartment,
When you were broke but you somehow always had a ball!
When you learned that hard lesson that was difficult to take,
But you know you needed.
Or...
That you were in a moment?

Black and insatiable
Cream and a little hazelnut
Barista, you fill up my cup
Your scent, always seems to interrupt

No good for me, but no regret

Coming or going? I never know

I used to be a super hero.
Now I’m just like everyone else.
I used to use my logic.
But that was before I felt,
The effects of Pink Kryptonite,
It leaves me dazed and confused.
I used to be a straight winner,
But when I set my sights on it, I lose!
All super heroes have a weakness.
Make no mistake, I’m not less than,
No super hero can deny it.
Not even Super Man!
What do you do when your weakness attracts you,
Kinda like a drug attic?
When I’m caught up in it’s euphoria,
My thoughts are no longer pragmatic.

Living in Love’s reality...
Always losing on a technicality!
Always questioning
The practicality,
Of the other persons morality!
Love for me is normal,
But being “in love” is an abnormality.
Relationships constant tug of war
Causes Love to become a fallacy!
I became cynical of love!
So, after becoming Love’s fatality;
I decided to change the game!
After giving my all to Love and being used
I’d never again be the same.

Lessons to My Younger Self
Most people say that if they could talk to themselves when they were younger, the things they would tell themselves to do.
But I’d rather tell you principals to live by than give you a bunch of rules!
First you need to change your mentality, because the reality is nothing gets easier unless your mindset is to achieve.
Stop taking the easiest path you can receive.
Hard work is a gift, it makes other things easier.
Never be afraid to work hard in life and never be a cheater!
Because when you cheat your really only cheating yourself.
It makes everything...
