One Last Hug Before I Am Not Your Little Girl Anymore
Your arms were once my shelter,
Strong enough to hold the world
But gentle enough to cradle me
When all I needed was you.
Now, I feel the distance, creeping in,
Like shadows growing tall.
The innocence we used to share
Fades as I stand and face the wall.
Your breath shudders, caught between
The life we knew and what’s to be—
This last embrace, soft and fragile,
Is breaking both of us quietly.
I wish I could stay small forever,
In the safety of your care.
But life pulls me...

Mis padres dejaron su país atrás en busca de mejores oportunidades para mi futuro y yo concedí sus deseos.
Mis padres cruzaron mares y fronteras,
dejaron su tierra en busca de un sueño,
con esperanza en sus corazones,
anhelaban un futuro con mejor empeño.
Llegaron a estas tierras lejanas,
con el peso del esfuerzo en sus espaldas,
trabajaron días y noches incansables,
para brindarme oportunidades y alas.
Me enseñaron el valor del sacrificio,
la importancia de la educación y el saber,
con su ejemplo forjaron mi camino,
y sus sueños hicieron florecer.
Con libros y letras, construí mi destino,
en aulas llenas de...

There's so much I want to say, but I don't know where to start.
There's so much I want to say,
But words evade my tongue,
Emotions tangled in my heart,
Where every thread is strung.
The silence weighs like heavy stones,
A burden on my chest,
I try to speak, but thoughts retract,
Retreating, unexpressed.
My mind, a labyrinth of fears,
Of what and how and why,
Each path I take seems closed and dark,
Beneath a somber sky.
The moments slip through grasping hands,
Like sand through open palms,
I wish to voice the aching truth,
To find some inner calm.
But...
