My life
Feels like a train
Sounding the horn in the dark
People know I'm there
But more than anything
I am ignored
It is safe to cross now
Feels like a train
Sounding the horn in the dark
People know I'm there
But more than anything
I am ignored
It is safe to cross now

Where did it go?
I gave away most everything
I was the life of
My own party
That no one came to.
I was the life of
My own party
That no one came to.

Excuse me
I had this funny feeling
Where people don't want to talk to me
I guess I've been left out.
Might've said the wrong things
How long since we've spoke?
That's me in a nut shell.
Its pretty much like I've imagined it
Maybe better.
Where people don't want to talk to me
I guess I've been left out.
Might've said the wrong things
How long since we've spoke?
That's me in a nut shell.
Its pretty much like I've imagined it
Maybe better.

Dissolving.
The Tao is like
The binding of a book.
The pages do one thing
The binding does another.
Neither are real
Only perceptions.
The binding of a book.
The pages do one thing
The binding does another.
Neither are real
Only perceptions.

Columbia
Head north in the morning
Beyond the reach of work and worries
Passing old houses sprawling hillsides
That look too close to home
Waterfalls on either side of passing storms
Rotten barns slowly returning to the
Encroaching forests in empty pasture
Forgotten and overgrown
Cottonwood and Holly stands
Row after perfect row
Evergreens and willow buds
Dewy grass in floodplains
Flowers crowding out the drains
Cross the river at the bend
Cross again at the mouth
Make the loop
Head south past the obelisk as the day ends
Beyond the reach of work and worries
Passing old houses sprawling hillsides
That look too close to home
Waterfalls on either side of passing storms
Rotten barns slowly returning to the
Encroaching forests in empty pasture
Forgotten and overgrown
Cottonwood and Holly stands
Row after perfect row
Evergreens and willow buds
Dewy grass in floodplains
Flowers crowding out the drains
Cross the river at the bend
Cross again at the mouth
Make the loop
Head south past the obelisk as the day ends

Just trying to help
Two men were talking
They talked of grief
One a tracker
One a chief
One lost a daughter
One found her
They talked of grief
One a tracker
One a chief
One lost a daughter
One found her

No one cares, or Nobody cares
We thought we'd be good for eachother
Like peas and carrots
Like bread and butter
Wholesome
Little did anyone know
What they thought was going to be a family
When we knew what we would be
Later they too finally knew you
I'm not getting out of this hole
Give me your hand only to let go
Gripping tighter with sweaty palms
In so deep I want to go home
You're not that magical
Depression is a tough thing to deal with
Like peas and carrots
Like bread and butter
Wholesome
Little did anyone know
What they thought was going to be a family
When we knew what we would be
Later they too finally knew you
I'm not getting out of this hole
Give me your hand only to let go
Gripping tighter with sweaty palms
In so deep I want to go home
You're not that magical
Depression is a tough thing to deal with

Really?
I - I
Don't know what to tell you.
You
We
Think that we've worked this through.
We haven't.
You get irrationally angry
Over non - things.
They mean nothing.
But let's get angry?
One day,
I hope we can be brothers again.
Until then, I will hope and pray
I will recognize my family again,
Someday.
Don't know what to tell you.
You
We
Think that we've worked this through.
We haven't.
You get irrationally angry
Over non - things.
They mean nothing.
But let's get angry?
One day,
I hope we can be brothers again.
Until then, I will hope and pray
I will recognize my family again,
Someday.

Greenery at sunset
Sure its been a while
Waiting for this flower to bloom
I've the time though.
Patience was my strong point
To the extreme of forgetting what I'm waiting for.
My love has turned to soil
Waiting to nourish the next flower,
Only for it to be plucked and loved,
Intensely if only for a day.
Waiting for this flower to bloom

Patience was my strong point
To the extreme of forgetting what I'm waiting for.
My love has turned to soil
Waiting to nourish the next flower,
Only for it to be plucked and loved,
Intensely if only for a day.

I'm here, you're there.
I've tried so hard
To forget.
You've come into my dreams.
At the same time,
I love and hate you.
I wish I was like the others.
Just let me move on.
In the same way I've no support
From my family,
I expect none from you.
To forget.
You've come into my dreams.
At the same time,
I love and hate you.
I wish I was like the others.
Just let me move on.
In the same way I've no support
From my family,
I expect none from you.

Pride?
I can't imagine
Picture
Or understand
Why I would want to stay this way
Grasping at grapes too high
I don't want to be this
This
Thing anymore
Unwanted emotions welling up
Uncaring attitudes
Time for change
Time for action
I hope by the end of it
I'm happy

Grasping at grapes too high
I don't want to be this

Unwanted emotions welling up
Uncaring attitudes
Time for change
Time for action
I hope by the end of it
I'm happy
