I felt so safe in your arms
But then I remembered that she probably felt the same way
I felt your passion through every kiss you gave me

Happiness
As time breaks down, so do the people
Humans have become lost in just about everything they do
You see, maybe that's the problem
Maybe we're all losing side of what's important
At the end of the day it's not about: Fancy cars, big houses, our bank account, or even how much our job pays
It should be about: Family, happiness, love even
As cliché as it sounds, everyone deserves to be happy
If I can't wake up in the morning and say that I am truly happy,
Then that is not a life I want to live
Money can not buy you things that will last
It won't buy you...
Humans have become lost in just about everything they do
You see, maybe that's the problem
Maybe we're all losing side of what's important

Thoughts You May Never Know
Yes! Yes for the love of God I want a family with you. I want a future with you. I want a lifetime with you. I want everything but only with you. Because no matter what I do, all I can see is you. You. You. And you. It’s always been you.
Why can’t I just let you the in?! Why do I always have to guard myself??? Why can’t I just let myself go? To see how much you love me? To feel. Why couldn’t I let you know these things? Why am I so scared? If I lost you, I would be losing me. I just want you and only you.
I get mad because I've tried thinking that maybe what I was feeling...

Acceptance
All that rang in my ears were "you're not good enough"
over time hearing that in your head, you start believing it
I try to be everything you want me to be:
do what you want me to do
say what you want me to say
I even changed my way of thinking
All for what?
All for someone who thinks it's not enough
accusations pierced my ears
"You never will..."
"You can't..."
"Yes, but you didn't..."
everything I didn't do right was always pointed out
But not anymore
oh, no "friend"
if...

You're My Music
I fell in love with you like the way I fall in love with music.
At first, you fall in love with the sound. Like your voice for instance is what I first fell for. But then you really start listening to it and you learn about it. You learn how every rhythm, beat and tone comes together to make that lovely sound. How you act, your habits, characteristics, every little thing that makes you, you. Music has a past and it tells a story. You have a past. Everything you've done, the choices you made, what you went through is making you the person you are now. Your actions are telling a story....

Love in Reality
Why try to fight for something you know you'll never have?
After all, we never get what we want.
We all like to think that love is beautiful.
Yes, love is great,
love makes the world go 'round.
But love also kills.
Love can hurt and destroy what we thought,
was so perfect in our eyes.
When in reality,
love is like a dirty sin,
waiting to consume us.
It looks so perfect and tempting.
Well as soon as you love,
you can't escape it's clutches.
As soon as you say,
"I love you",
it's like you've just said to...

The Past Him
His voice was like a predators growl
Rough and loud
Yet calming somehow
He said his words proud
The hair on his head
Used to be black
Now it burns of bright red
If only he would change it back
And oh, his smile
It was like the sun
The rays of it went on for a mile

Elegy Stained On the Heart
The bell rings as daylight breaks
Crows fly overhead and watch us
Heartbreak is what it makes
Pain from forever lost trust
A black sheet is spread along the cold ground
The faces look so dull and dead
Sadness is all that is found
Goodbye is all that can be said
If only this feeling would just leave
This broken heart will mend

Scars
I believe we all have scars that won't heal
They are left there to remind us of our past
Some bring back painful memories
That push up emotion when thought about
Some can bring back joyful memories
That can touch our soul and make us happy
Scars can go away after time,
But then there are scars that will never heal
They won't go away
But then again,
Maybe we're supposed to live with them
As if some kind of reminder to what we once had,
But is lost
I have a lot of scars
My scars are a reminder to me
That I had to go through something...

I Won't Give Up On You
So here we are again
Saying what has already been said
Hurting what has already been hurt
Breaking what has already been broken too many times
We've been pushed over the edge too far and now
It's too late
Can't breathe
Can't speak
Can't think
Can't be saved
It's going to end
I dreaded this moment
I wished it away
Wishes never come true
And I know that to this very day
I had faith in you and I believed
But you pushed me away
Time
After
Time
You grew cold
Sad
Heartless
And alone
All you knew now...
