I had disagreements with him but loved his passion and fire which were exhibited both in his conversations with me and his poems.

I am at a loss for the right words. He was always such a straight shooter with wit and grit to fill any room.

David was very helpful to me as i was finding my way on this site.  He was a talented poet.  Our last interaction was not a happy one, this i regret.  May he rest in peace.

I never had any private conversations with David, but through reading his poems and comments I always felt like I'd like to know him better. He was kind and fierce and witty as hell, and I was always happy to see a new entry of his in my updates. It feels weird to say I'll miss someone I didn't really know, but I will indeed miss his big presence here. Wishing peace and comfort to all those who were close to him.
