The fried Mars bar. They will literally kill you with diabetes, but they’re a fine way to go. 👌🏻

I am at a loss for the right words. He was always such a straight shooter with wit and grit to fill any room.
Rest in Peace David. Cheers to you, you Beautiful Bastard.

Yeah. He grew that beard out at the end there Val!
Here’s him doing spoken word before he lost his legs.

Sadness. Beyond words.
Dave you called me a friend. Your last word I received.
This will take time dealing, there's no healing for this. Mate.

David was very helpful to me as i was finding my way on this site. He was a talented poet. Our last interaction was not a happy one, this i regret. May he rest in peace.

I never had any private conversations with David, but through reading his poems and comments I always felt like I'd like to know him better. He was kind and fierce and witty as hell, and I was always happy to see a new entry of his in my updates. It feels weird to say I'll miss someone I didn't really know, but I will indeed miss his big presence here. Wishing peace and comfort to all those who were close to him.
