Today

numbers seem so trite
to compare life with
nothing out of sight
in life or death

its still all there
the thoughts left hanging
energy on air
never plucked to speech

there's no final words
sometimes when it hurts
too bad
I remember your voice

ten months of your absence
still missing you very much
your words your text
your voice

its autumn now
our month, my month
I miss the reds of the leaves
where you are.
