LIFE IN THE RESEARCH LAB
Graduate school was the best time of my life
Just being accepted made you an intelligent person
We were young and crazy, partly from the chemicals
And partly from the times, Berny was on LSD most of the time
Miguel smoked marijuana until he was wasted
Our research director liked his wine with the lunch at the Faculty Club
I do not know how we achieved anything in this mad research lab
One day Berny decided to find out…just how many kiloliter’s of water
Were hanging from above…to put out potential fires
He pulled the chain and a flood came down, Noah’s ark could have been around
The depth of the water was two feet; we all went running for shelter
The poor janitor was left with the mess, the little lab rats – us – had fled
We came in the next day….punishment was sure to come, when it did not
We still worried about being kicked out of the DOCTORAL program
Fortunately for us, our Research Director remembered HIS YOUTH
And the pranks he played, laughed with us, but cautioned
Do this again and you will not be pardoned!!!!!

I haven't forgotten anyone. I will choose a winner the first chance I get...I have not had the chance. Too busy lately.
