Coronavirus- A lovers Lament

I live alone
Must stay at home
Away from my lover

If she comes near
I must be a clear
Six feet from my lover

This virus is to blame
Apart we must remain
I cannot touch my lover.

I remember the time
When touching was no crime
When I was with my lover.

We would caress
And undress
In bed with my love

Skin to skin
Would make us grin
The feel of my lover

Lips would touch
Arms would clutch
So close to my lover

Touching was the core
Leading to much more
Closeness with my lover

I am deprived;
Have not contrived,
How to touch my lover

I yearn for the time
When it will be fine
To  touch again my lover

From a Cemetery Bench...

Pause dear friend and sit awhile, enjoy this evening breeze and await that magic moment of the sunset through the trees.
Oh I’ve seen that sight a thousand times and wondered at the way that God would save such beauty for the ending of the day?
Aren’t endings filled with sorrow and regret I used to say but I slowly smiled as I realized the error of my way.
For there are no endings for those who love with all their heart and soul, when life beats and batters and lays us low that loving makes us whole!
So take my love, add your own and float it on this breeze, then you too will smile when you turn to see the sunset through the trees.

Mistaken for Spring

( a non-rhyming Quatern )

She isn’t just a scent upon the breeze,
To birds that find a branch to perch the night
That hides the fruit they covet as they taste,
To cats upon the fence before they spar.

Mistaken for the wet of dewy rose;
She isn’t just a scent upon the breeze.
Is feeling yesterday of stone & earth,
As fog that slowly creeps in from the sea.

Who makes a man to quiver in his bed
Before he’s had the time to fall asleep.
She isn’t just a scent upon the breeze,
Nor raindrops sliding down a window pane.

Her flowing hair that rustles like the leaves
And glows diaphanous between the lights,
It’s all of Nature seems to feel her throb.
She isn’t just a scent upon the breeze.

Causing The Effect

I saw the world crumble under the weight of our sins
Thousands of lives hanging between hope and despair
Not enough did care.

I heard their screams echo through my dreams
Concern feigned; recall one's humanity
As if thoughts could save lives.

I smelt the disgust, rising from the earth
The grand consciousness ejecting the rancid remnants
While the repugnant bicker.

I tasted the promise of a beautiful world
Before reality slapped it out of my mouth
Reminding me that it is poisonous.

I touched upon this subject
Because nobody dares to speak of
All the lives that are truly affected by this quarantine.

I think it's safe to say that we are all to blame
A nation of 1.38 bn and the media chooses to discriminate
Leaders line their pockets, humanity begins to deteriorate.

I feel we can bring about change
Equality, compassion and respect aren't unavailable
As long as we are.

Sorry, I know it seems very shriveled up but I just decided to stick with the style.

A LIQUID ESCAPE

Come go with me tonight as we journey beyond, what is known as time and space for let us unshackle, our thoughts and emotions and feelings. As the whispers of the winds blows through, the naked tree in a field of liquid gold hidden mysteriously like an secret oasis hidden deep within the outer limits. Yet as the mere whispers of the winds blows as it caress our skin, as it calms it from within running through the many veins of our being, feeding us that life line which that we need to feed the body. As well as our souls impacting the stimulation of our minds, operating the systematic factions of our brains. Yet as the mere overwhelming sensations grabs us and rips, into the very existences of our souls penetrating through the stairway and gateways, compelling us to go deeper than deep within the subconsciousness of our awakening with awareness. For as we transcend mentally and emotionally, I take you within my arms holding you so deeply in the intricately woven fabric of the skin of my flesh and blood. But as we connect spiritually and physically and feel our innermost flame, burn from within as we stare into the depth of our eyes the mirror to the key to unlocking. The depth of our inner soul as we voyage beyond, the moonlight glowing through the universe like liquid gold flowing like an river into the seas of the abyss.

Spell

I call unto the guardians
My feet planet firm on the ground
My hands raised to the sky
My eyes are open wide, my heart is clear
My voice is loud, my words are true.

I call unto the guardians
I ask for their power to come into me,
I cast a spell with pure intentions
I call onto the goddess of LOVE
I ask her to infect you.

I cast a spell with purity in my soul
I call onto you so that you may come forward to me,
Come open my lock, come take my virtue.
I cast a spell unto you so that you may
Only know my heart to be true.

I dance in the light of the full moon,
I offer my innocence to the guardians,
I give a plant to the earth as food to the gods.
I cast a spell unto you as above so below.
