View Of The Lit Christmas Tree From The Highway

As the day gets dark I'm aware of what I'm capable of.
Thoughts stay.
Speed doesn't matter I'll get there I promise.
Looked out the car window to the left and there stood a lit Christmas tree.
Hidden above elevated high in the dark woods.
Like that tree I was alone but shining.
Feelings circle with my adventurous imagination and remind me that this could be the greatest time ever.
Doubts still fight with the moments.
Lost in texted words.
That's how I got here.
The gps says I'll be seeing you for the first time in 30 minutes.
Close but far away.
There will be plenty of words to say.
I remain the type that doesn't always talk with words.
Body language is a language pay attention.
Outside standing in this cold.
Guide me in my car for a moment.
Surprise surprise my hands can't stay to myself.
Different lips touched quick but enough time to ignite a small fire.

Dark Dreams

She breaks his heart,
For each night they spend apart,
Feeling the weight of loss and despair,
Sobbing in the pages,
That now seem lost in ages,
The lovely dream seems like a nightmare.
Now he writes in vain,
Sitting and writhing in pain,
Thinking his letters somehow will get to her,
But the ache is so deep,
As each night he loses sleep,
The sight of his beloved is becoming a blur.
He takes all the blame,
As the ink bleeds her name,
Pouring all his emotion on every leaf,
With each tear he drops,
He sighs and briefly stops,
Trying to breathe unable to find relief.
He cries out for mercy,
Feeling drawn and unworthy,
Of the love he has but cannot get back,
So he sits there sleepless,
In total and utter bleakness,
Wide awake as the night goes pitch black.
His poor tortured soul
Has been left out in the cold,
Creeping in the gloom with stark screams,
But he does not care,
As long as her spirit is there,
Weeping in the room of his dark dreams.

JUST A WORD

Don't you miss beautiful smiles and happiness?
happy moments and joy
Joyful tears and memories
Memories about love
Loving tales and beauty
Beautiful endings from painful beginnings
Beginnings, all over, again.

Don't shed tears again
Not even tears of joy
Love is about giving
So, give but not to every needy soul
Take but not from every hand
Beg but from no man
Appreciate but not always.

Life is a teacher
It depends with what you learn.
Wait for no man
Choose nothing but what's familiar
Life is a wave
Recieve and pass it on.

The Ripper's Coming

Attention! Attention! Be aware of being a Maiden
Do not go out alone in the dark my dears
A man as evil as Satan could be watching
He will leave his nasty mark on you lady

Please! Please! My fair maiden be on the look out
Stay away from ally ways we declare
He may take you to his lair and you won't enjoy
He will leave you to decay by the river bank

Prostitutes! Prostitutes! This message is for you to
The Whitechapel murderer will target you as well
The horror of this man you will never forget
We do not know where he could dwell

Warning! Warning! Jack the Ripper has struck again
The poor lady did not see the end coming
Pack your begs and leave London by tonight
Flea I tell you  Save yourselves

Killer! Killer! Whitechapel will never rest again
The humming of the church bells rumble in your ears
Warning and telling you lady's and Gentlemen
To be prepared The Ripper is coming soon

Last Beat Of A Homeless Heart

A cool breeze whips and the Fahrenheit dips

a night lost on a lonesome road

reaching out to those in need

attempting to spark

the last beat of a homeless heart

Preachers preached some souls were reached

love was everywhere to be found

to give.. to keep

to sow.. to reap

but in private you couldn't hear a sound

hearts live to love but how long can they live

in a world full of take and no give

loyal eyes they no longer cry

and a heartbeat slows as time slips by

as when the eagle

if i could be a mountain
standing tall,
i’d be the first to feel the
raindrops fall;
and when the morning sun gets
out of bed,
i’d be the first to watch the
skies turn red.

if i could be lithe raindrops
slanting down,
i’d gently bathe the great, big
sprawling town;
i’d quench the cows and heal their
mournful moos
and send quiet flowers dancing
where i choose.

if i could be the radiant
morning sun,
i’d kiss the trees and watch the
rivers run
between the rushes tangled
in their tracks.
i’d pause to see sweet little
birds relax.

i may not be a mountain,
rain, or sun,
but lo, my life has only
just begun:
i shall, one day, grow tall and
cool and bright,
as when the eagle spreads its
wings in flight.

Insights of the Soul

Transcendent truth, inhuman compassion
altruistic love, measured retribution
crystalline intellect, untainted sentiment
inhabits illuminating immaculate vessel

Residing in secret recesses of mortal spirit
temporarily exiled from eternal repose
three pillars hold the universe in its’ heights

Repossession of inclination for exoneration
invocation of deathless soul beseeching grace
emotion and logic reconciled in absolute harmony

Dreams

I have loved you for three years,
And over the years,
Have dreamt of you many times.
But never have I had so many in such rapid succession,
Or with such detail, and emotion,
Four dreams in three weeks,
I feel as though something is going on in these last few weeks.
What is going on right now?
Maybe you're thinking about me right now?
Lately, several times, I felt you thinking about me,
Even if it's just a passing thought, it makes me happy,
Do you have thoughts of me, out of the blue?
Or are some or all sparked by something you see, that of me, reminds you?
Do you feel me thinking about you?
If so, how does it make you feel, happy?
I hope so,
With happy thoughts of you, my cup does overflow.
So, I would like to know this...
What is going on with you, that my soul can't miss?
Obviously something the gods are trying to tell me, it is,
I wish, again, that I could see you,
Maybe someday, on a day new,
We will again meet,
And you can tell me all about the time between our first meet, and this meet.
About all the things you've done,
And the things that happened to you, the good, bad, boring, and fun.
And I'll tell you all about what I've done,
And all the things that happened to me, the good, bad, borning, and fun.

Under Irish Sky

To lie in barley under Irish sky
As Herb Moon shone upon your naked form
My heart was captured by your Irish eyes
In peace before our passion’s gathering storm
That night, my love, we quietly embraced
And cultivated tenderness of touch
A lifetime’s magic in that time and place
Against which all loves since must not be judged!
My wish, to see that moon again with you
Without the cares that life has since imposed
In hindsight all my future I’d eschew
And stay with you forever, unopposed
A fool I was, to ever say goodbye
To you, in barley, under Irish sky!
