I’m losing my goddamn mind!
Pass the vodka.
Why is it illegal to burn down cities?

I just read that people accuse writers who use em-dashes of using ChatGPT — and I’m shocked!!
I love using em-dashes (—) as much as I love using semi-colons (;), and colons (:), and hyphens (-), and parenthesis (()), and exclamation marks (!), etc. and have been using them long before ChatGPT was even a concept!
Em-dashes (—) are perfectly dramatic and I love them. No em-dash user slander shall prosper—for realz.

It is probably the people who use no punctuation whatsoever (not to mention capitals at the beginning of sentences) who believe that only ChatGPT knows how to use such "wizardry". Personally, I love to use ALL of it - the more clauses and phrases I can pack into a sentence, the better!

LOL! You're probably right! I love punctuation! That is why I ran a punctuation thread years ago!

Happy National Poetry Month... in celebration I am doing a series of poetry readings in libraries in my area. I have also donated a bunch of poetry books (a few of them mine) to the libraries as well... wish me luck...

Bloody hell what a day. Power outage followed by a 2-hour conference call. I am surprised I have any brains left. Have plants everywhere ready to transplant.

that's so wonderful! <3 hope you have a great movie date.
..those bring back so many good memories for me of when I first started dating my husband.
In response to the thread itself, ..I'm good, ..am enjoying a slow morning, but thoughts keep wondering off towards work related stuff. I feel incredibly content.
Hope everyone has a great day
