Genuinely interested in hearing the English view? I'm actually half-English for my sins and my Dad was the most beautiful and gentle of men (hard as fuck mind). All Brits have to carry the scars of imperialism and the bloody empire. Nowt wrong with being proud of one's nation (pride without prejudice).
