From a flicker to a tight embrace

Where there's breath
there's hope
teetering amidst
unconventional
and the enormity
of where decisions
are decided

being one's own
biggest advocate
unleashing
locked away bravery
making sure
to openly exist
shrouded in courage

letting go of
internal nagging
setting free
the version
I have always seen
replaying
in my mind's eye

breathing in promise
to exhale
animated fear
grasping at today
at every day
clinging
fully


with both hands



and never
letting go.
