Behold A New Earth
“Don't Gain The World & Lose Your Soul, Wisdom Is Better Than Silver Or Gold.

You are the beta testers...
Tell me how does science perceive the soul, can it be defined, can it be harnessed and perfected. Or is it simply a AA battery to be collectively uploaded to power the next evolved being.

One entry old or new

MONKEY SCIENCE

Believing they needed a major dental make-over
the monkeys killed all the wise old elephants
for their tusks

there was a huge surplus
so they used them
to build ivory towers
to figure out ways

one of the most intriguing ways they came up with was science
a way that looked for Truth using
only the five physical senses, and
missing out all the higher senses …
crazy, but true

impressive for a monkey though!

Fix

My soul speak
Stutters
Its shift grave
These tumultuous times
Leave me reeling
And out of balance

So I see Doctors
To spruce up this shabby heart
They define me
By my chemicals
A lot of parts to this being
A whole lot of synapse to be crossed
My transistor is buzzzzing
And the Doctors all have cold hands
I won't go again.......

So this time
When my soul was in need
I sold it outright to Satan
For a buck fitty
I was so fucking thirsty
And no spare change
And I've always been a fan of the deranged
So if I can't beat em...
Join em?

My soul speak
Stutters
I can't quite get out the words
To describe its place in this Universe
And it's worth here in God's green Earth

Except I don't believe we die and are merely extinguished
My soul will certainly go on
To see a new day shine
Be it powering someone else's body
Or reliving days in mine
A Bhudda waltz
This delicate dance
And fate our final partner

Leaving footprints edging  towards enlightenment

We are in the end our Mothers Daugters

Science is I

What is science to a man intent to be Spawn?
c'mon upon this marathon I'm royalty instead,
with that ghetto glow I say god doesn't exist,
instead I'm intent on saying goodbye to the
non scientific for you don't exist. I might be
the sickest, though i stare out the window mo
pillows in hand looking to the sky for the next
discovery. Is this life worthless? Plus I'm dead
inside without science, license to be myself
since twelve shells smelled of guilt for I not
wanting to be alone without science, even
my girlfriend in herself can admit how much
she thought I was crazy when I told her today
there will be a new Earth as the bells toll at
twelve, and that in itself is a big spell. I am
nothing without this world's eccentric way
to understand my inability to dive deep into
issues boo in spew due to my continued
weirdness, but this new earth is here to accept
me for what I am, so screw through a long
overdue view your perception of what I be,
science is my tissue when confidence I spew,
so today I'll leave my soul to science.

Soul is a Black Hole

Science took an Agnostic stand
The hypothesis of a soul existing
Sure, they give it the benefit of the doubt
Paranormal SCIENCE is what...

Kenetic energy, false memory and gravity...
Though they thought more often than not
That soul is synonymous with Grudge
Can you believe that?

It can be true, it can be a hoax
But who knows?
No proof beyond reasonable doubt
That it does exist.

Yet , no proof that it doesn't
Many believed, and still believe
Who is science to say
That them believers are liers?

Remember the wind?
Remember black hole?
My memory is vague
(Or pretending that it is)

The Essence of My Being

The other night I woke up,
I thought I heard my soul screaming,
Spitting a high-pitched earsplitting cry
That felt as if the sky was falling down on me.
The doctor tested me with all the usual exams,
The blood, the brain and everything known to man,
He thought it might be cancer, but he had no answer,
Everything was normal.

The other morning I fell out of bed,
My spirit had a dream that made it scream again,
But yet no one around heard a noise, or my voice,
I was deafened by the silence coming from within.
The shrink said that I was probably having a breakdown,
Maybe it was love or lack thereof or something I needed,
A soul with a mind of its own.

The other day I stopped in a daze,
My mind remembered memories I’d long forgotten,
Of guilty pleasures and sins like a long list of synonyms,
Stacks of acts I swore I’d lock behind my basement door.
The preacher man said I had to confess my offences,
My sub-conscience was peeking into the light,
I vowed again I would keep it to myself.

Just yesterday as I scribbled with a paper and pen,
My fingers wrote words I dare not say in any therapy session,
My soul was taking physical possession of my body,
I stopped mid verse and tried to coerce my spirit into silence.
It was a defiance,
And maybe no scholarly knowledge or discipline can explain,
After all, the soul is intangible, it’s ethereal,
A material part of me that makes me who I am,
The essence of my being,
In terms of how I see myself and no one else,
Not even science,
Can define.

Specimens

Restlessly day and night
Every now and then an endless fight
Discover this,discover that
All to meet the human plight

Science create,science destroys
Science scatter science's toils
Science advance all the negative things
From which science itself recoil

In the centre of it all is the man
A man who thought of course he can
Use the other for his own selfish ends
As an insignificant part of his plan

So the world is a cosmic laboratory
Like one big massive factory
Where good and evil is daily produced
Anything for the project is satisfactory

So inventions is done for the cash
Just for some greedy folks to stash
Never for the interest of the man in need
Who is perceived as just a trash

Points for Science

at dawn there's a flicker of gold
faint among the morning hues
and my heart sings to it, a new day
like a vampire to the sound of heart beats

the quickening of the heart
when meeting a beloved
the rush within what is it called
not lust but a happy butterfly holiday

what answers beauty from within
what calls to the deep like trumpets
who is the essence of me
are thoughts from my soul...

is there a soul within occupying my heart
or is it somewhere in my head
dwelling within my mind
or wandering through my veins

there is more to me than this
greater journey  after my bodies death
will it be my soul or my spirit
that goes on and on

studies on souls
will continue

and death may not be as final after all
some clever scientists claim.

S O U L

We've all seen when science steps in;
It's anything goes with that lot,
There's no honor for tradition.

It's all talk about extinction
Replaced by new order, new world
Everything shiny clean and new
And supposedly much better.

When did we start to think of how
There wasn't enough to explore,
To keep our hands and minds busy,
To question everything of ours
And think that we could improve "it"?

On the contrary, "it" can't wait
To abandon the idea,
And never bothers to ask me
As most times it knows I agree.

Why should we care?  I know I don't,
Driving with the sun in my eyes.
When I utter its name aloud
The single syllable thunders,
And I'm put right back in my place.

It's mine, you know, and so is yours.
I'll never plan to sell it out,
Nor put it on a bucket list
And see it naked 'neath a lens
To have it dissected again.

It's the only one of its kind,
The best thing that was given me
That jump started my chance at life.

I forget sometimes, once or twice,
But
not whenever this is read:
That science is not meant to touch
Or covet, cleave, or count or clone,
Please leave my soul and I alone.

Soul Message In A Bottle

I'm leaving my soul alone after I die.
It makes no difference to me If you want to put it in a bottle & dissect it after my life ends.
I can sit here in heaven or hell & watch the fireworks begin.
They will fight over my money.
But, I can assure you they won't fight over my soul.
There's a strong message there.
My soul will crush them into tiny minds.
Or, pebbles.
