Poetry Contest Description
Rhyme about the end of days
pretty words wont save us now, share them anyway
its all fuct up
on self destruct
this is a ruinous downward spiral
where banality is becoming viral
its all fuct up
on self destruct
this is a ruinous downward spiral
where banality is becoming viral

WAR ON TERROR
I wouldn't want deny a nation
defend itself against its foes
but from decades' observation
the terror's wherever America goes.

The Third World War
The warriors from the East
shall trample the earth
with their mighty guns
the frenzy of bottled disgusts
against power from the Western Realms
and their mighty circle
that sit around the round table,
crests and crowns upon their shields,
they who know their statures
and prowess made them emperors
and warlords of the Earth
The air will be cleaved by anger
translates in thunder, its might eager
to show sovereignty of the blue skies
lightning shall they spew
burning cities destroying empires
scorching the land with fury
billowing sails of ghosts ships
lend valour to the crests of man
to push beyond their ken.
thundering lightning of man’s ingenuity
from the land where almond eyed beauties
dwell, and poets with tinkling cymbals ponder
will ravage lands where robust man
proud of their own fearlessness
and their kinfolks thrive
on cities of silver, carved of beauty
painted with tears of the conquered
they shall know the flight of their serfs
and drink the bitter waters of despair
The bid for supremacy
the race for the throne
the screams against heaven
the warrior cries for Asmodai
and millions who scream in the name
of the Almighty, God the Creator
God is Great, God is Great!
thunderous the war will be
shaking its foundations to the core
The third wave of change
the third world war
will come in a cacophony
of sounds, sighs, cries, screams
man-made blights from beakers
will fight in silence
against thundering missiles
of anger and hatred
It will be done
The earth shall be a vast battleground
blushing red in radars
accompanied by black outs
the air fills with flying steels
guided by angels in silent wings
and companions of thunder and lightning
will traverse the sky’s highway
destruction dropped on the earth below
In avid killing spree
When at last the war is done
the scythe man and his minions
will shake their heads in consternation
for all have been reaped and thus
all sowed
they have done their best to clean
the earth of its discards
to replenish mankind
let innocence take hold.
Again.

The Unknown Soldier
For the next moments of my life
The sounds of the gun firing and explosions will be my alarm clock
I look around this empty room
The house is so quiet and empty
My daughter; no where to be found
Is she at home, safe with her mother
I hope so
I fight to protect those I care for dearly
Yet the ones declaring war doesn't even participate
As I stand on this once so called Great Nation; USA
I embark in a mind journey, noticing how life clearly went wrong
Tomorrow morning my life might end, i show say goodbye with my lips still curled upon my lips
Afraid to say goodbye because this may be the last
The guns I carry now become my only friend
As I commence my journey towards my own death
For the next moments of my life
The sounds of the gun firing and explosions will be my alarm clock
I look around this empty room
The house is so quiet and empty
My daughter; no where to be found
Is she at home, safe with her mother

Thermal Nuclear Chicken Breast ( with all the trimmings)
Social (ly) (inept) (in) justice warriors
stand loud and brightly triggered
(what is the judicial agenda
of socialite soldiers?)
Fascist antifa protestors take to the street
protesting the right to free (speak)
the rite to riot and freedom in general
Of course that could just be the view from BSNN copter number 9
Sad thing is Assad forgot where monsanto
hid the sarrin (trade mark) laughing gas
And last we heard
Kim jongs wizz bang mark 66 rocket
sadly fizzled on impact

Mother’s Wrath
I stand at the top of a mountain
And watch the whole world collapse,
The great beast as the good book had said,
Is no more than a nation with great powers to cast.
This isn’t some dream but it’s a scheme,
The revelation of the machine is finally here,
Bringing nothing but death and destruction to the common man,
While war mongers and demagogues dine like demigods
Profiting from the ruins of a scorched earth we all had feared.
I remember talk of the apocalypse,
When nothing but the end of times came from preachers lips,
Trying to terrify us,
Trying to terrorize us,
As extreme ideologies demonize each other,
But the true demons
Were the very men who took power,
In thirst for more power and riches and had no control,
No soul,
No conscience for the sick or the needy or the common man.
And here at the top of the mountain we wait,
Not just with hope and optimism,
But with courage,
To defend against the evils of men,
We will descend upon them,
Like thieves in the night,
A plague amongst them,
And with thunder that no man has ever fired,
Or devices the human mind has ever acquired,
We will unleash the true power of Mother’s wrath,
And those in our path will be struck down.
From their demise,
Upon their ruins,
A new civilization will rise,
It will give birth to a new earth,
That the children will inherit
After She takes it all back.

Are You Down
Silence is the calm before the storm
Suffer in this world above the norm
As I face each day I waste away I slowly fade
Stone cold and being friendly to no one
Chaos on the streets as racial tensions rise
Killing each other because of foolish pride
Well I walk alone within my zone my fears unknown
Strapped hard prepared to take your ass out
Until you realize if you take my Brothers life
One of yours has got to die
Back to the streets as the war begins
Judged upon a skin that I must defend
I know the truth I've been that youth I stand accused
Guilty the end is coming down real soon
Looking through the cross fire I didn't see it
Racist on the inside couldn't release it
Watching as my world dies and I can't heal it
The murder the rape the violence the hate the Brothers in the ground
Well Are You Down...

Boom
Boom there goes the world
Fires sucks out the air from our tired lungs
Nuclear waste poisons the green
The best of us obliterated
While the worst creep about in bunkers
waiting to die
After a thousand years
green shoots grow once again
The world comes back to life
Tarmac slowly fades into the earth
Boom there goes the world
Fires sucks out the air from our tired lungs
Nuclear waste poisons the green
The best of us obliterated
While the worst creep about in bunkers
waiting to die
After a thousand years
green shoots grow once again
The world comes back to life
Tarmac slowly fades into the earth
Fizzle

Lying in Wait
It tastes like autumn.
Brisk air feels empty, sparse.
My mind’s eye sees the coppers, the crimsons, the olives and oranges,
Yellows, and lime green.
And the antique moss.
Monochrome vistas dominate reality.
How long has it been since Sol was here?
I haven’t kept record of days in so long.
Naked trees whisper,
“The end is near.”
Ancient sirens protest the silence.
A vestige of civilization, once magnificent,
Once creative and enduring,
Now wholly entropic.
Rusted circuits, fickle and dissident.
They no longer warn,
But serve only to remind,
Of what once stood,
A functioning, well-oiled machine of nature,
The dominion of mankind.
Behold the scorched vastitude,
Blanketed in hopelessness…
I shut my eyes again.
A husk of a world hidden by my eyelids,
Kaleidoscopic bliss.
It tastes like autumn.
Brisk air feels empty, sparse.

This World: WWIII
The end of days while this world
Is burning all around us. I cannot
Take the fact that I am curled
Up here while blood might clot
And the fire will dry up this
Place that loses its spot
In this universe. Undying bliss
And happiness is no longer
Possible. Give me one last kiss
Before the poison gets stronger
And kills us all. The heavy burden,
And the rise of boiling anger
Comes to the surface. The curtain
Has been pulled back when you see
That it is World War III. The garden,
Once beautiful, can no longer be
Saved and replanted on this vast
Landscape. Even the once tall tree
Cannot grow. Nothing would last
Forever anymore. Everything is
Burning too quickly and fast.
Everything will fade and fizz
Out. People are too caught up
In themselves and the biz.

Lily white pages rattle on about it.
Ice cream sundaes.
Little Bo Peeps.
I've been there.
I made it back.
Sayne disappeared in a pink mist.
Wait until it happens to you.
Brain matter on your face.
Pieces of bone in your mouth.

Sonnet of the War Child
Transmutation, nucleus redesigned
Experimental reconfiguring
DNA strands set to be realigned
Nuclear waste excelled disfiguring
Radioactive sludge like solution
Scientifically overhauls the flesh
Manipulating it's evolution
Creates the children the gutters caress
Toxicity levels begin to grow
Red swollen eyes burning from the crying
Staring at the clouds which are black as crow
Gathering now together and dying
Post nuclear war, child of the past
Plays in the fallout of death ridden gas

Is it only
when a twisted sea of bones
in decaying concrete jungles
appear
on a barron horizon
glowing green
unnatral in the dark
do we see
the future
of the young souls
that we
conceive

TORPOR SKY
Early morning, no later I would wake
Nearly tripped, furniture’s out of place
The sun barely kissed the tree-line
Steaming coffee for the cold inside
There’s your crooked picture on the wall
You were five, and I wasn’t nearly bald
I’d check the mail if there ever was
But now it’s time to wait for the bus
Wrote a name
To shelter the flame
When the world is in pain
Credit me
For this final scene
In pointless reverie
I know it’s Winter now, the ash piles up
And the liquid turns stale in my cup
The heat is broken and my home’s not wired
All of a sudden, now I grow tired
Think I’ll sleep before the sun goes dark
Or walk through the night, to the park
I can’t remember where I left my mask
I can see tomorrow through my empty flask
Wrote a name
To shelter the flame
When the world is in pain
Credit me
For this final scene
In pointless reverie
Wonder why
That I could fly
Only when I’d lost the sky
I will try
To keep it alive
Only once it died
