acceptANCE
I got accepted today
guess its what we are looking for
searching for our tribe that fits our vibe
yet I consider what came before
sharp and rounded fragments reflect
dementia tinged recollections
shattered stars of imperfections
innocence pure
filled both glasses of nature nurture
slowly etched in experience
and surplus genetic deviance
still I got accepted today
half straight half gay
from a spirit extinguishing place
the fire and the heart
expire then depart
ridiculed by role models
feel the fear and do it...
guess its what we are looking for

Moving on
The web of the city
Trapped like an insect
Distorted time left to reflect
Urban decay is pretty
Beyond the glass dismay
A chemical transaction to pay
Only fragments bind
So fly away in silence
Escaping lies and violence
Pieces I left behind
The vulgar ideas of wealth
Fragile shards of mental health
Silk tendrils seek
Try assimilate me again
Synapse sparks pleasure or pain
Will leave me weak
A caught insect will fight
Struggles in the dying light

they died in lower case
i met a girl called cherl in a high school
on the estate our group knew one another
she was taller than boys mocked made me a fool
she was the first girl to be my teenage lover
snuck her into the loft before they turned out the light
we listened to my aerosmith tape turned down low
we shared the single bed together cuddled up all night
i kissed her pink warm feet and sucked her toes
we slept, but never slept with each other
and our connection just fragmented perhaps lost
a brief moment shared but...

That is because its a genetic affliction
written into your genome without your permission
a non living virus hijacking your life without permission
Its our d2 receptors being fucked up
like a broken leg this injury would disrupt

the dark underbelly landslides of tears
the foolish laughter of inviting bonhomie

i read about these colourful lives
products of a thatcherite ideology i despise
i only have chapters left of this story
the humanity lost on those who vote tory

Red smiles and ribbons pink
Tapestry map upon the skin
White cross-hatch through fading ink
Deliberate strokes storytelling
Razor sharp and etching deep
In a syntax personal to me
Only then can I find sleep
Saturated with relentless toxins
Its poison the bleed reveals
Cant help but pick the scab
A wound never completely heals
Vacillation marks my syntax
Before the press and release
Tortured words become warm flow
Caught in the undertow of peace

summer breeze makes me feel fine
in the garden with pimms i recline
burning my pale pink ass is ace
listening to nin and random drum n bass
i like it when my skin cooks brown
skin so tight i can no longer frown
its happy times after sleet and snow
if you live in england then you fucking know
its been so lovely tranquil and lazy
this heat makes some brits crazy
its all so vibrant green and idyllic right now
till the sunburned piss-heads raise an angry brow
