The Key
There is a gateway to my heart
And it is you that holds the key
It didn’t take me long to realise
That you are the one for me
We’ve had our ups and downs
But come through stronger in the end
You are my rock through good times and bad
My lover and my friend
We’ve had our fair share of disapproval
And found out who our true friends are
Good friends who are worth their weight in gold
Whether they live near or far
It took so long to meet my soulmate
And you know that it is you
In this life and the hereafter
You know that our love is true
It was fate that brought us together
And I hope we'll never part
Because it’s only you that holds the key

Unexpressed Expression
Love is the language of all peoples
And I think that's true
But from the view of its sacrificial demands
People seem not to have a clue
Love is the language of all peoples
Even their religions teaches it too
Yet in reality it only exist in theory
And hardly reflects in what the followers do
Look,it's so sweet to talk about love
No other word has been so commonly used
To tease,to please,to heal and to deceive
In the human diction,love remains the most abused
It gets boring when one begins to be cynical
Yet the truth must be told
Love is nothing more than a lip service paid
Majority of the hearts are cold
No food for the poor yet much sponsors for war
Pro-Love campaigners create divisions too
Racial discrimination and segregation flourish
Everyday Love meets its waterloo
So I agree love is the language of the world
Yet my point I must buttress
Love is the message the world is preaching

There is to understand. The words do not mean
Anything unless you can get my heart to sing
Your soul song and get past the daily routine.
It is more than just saying I love you because
You have to feel and show it too. It is way more
Than just taking the band aids, gauze
And patching it all up. you open the door,
But you also have to walk through it.
Love is simply way more than just trying.
You will love every part, piece and bit
Of me while lasting love should not be dying.

It sends the soul to into another realm,
And speaks the truth so that all understand.
It’s been spoken since the early days of man,
It’s had many names in many tongues,
It’s brought air to those who seek it,
And brought life to many lungs.
It’s been the fire that lights the way,
It’s also been the traces of the past,
For without it we’d have no purpose,
And with it makes our resolve steadfast.
It doesn’t matter what tongue or dialect
Any of us speaks when our views are unfurled,
No matter what the name we all speak the same,
Because love is the language of the world.
