Purpose And Reason
Late night musings are commonplace
My creative wiring is tied to the moon
Daytime thoughts seem so incoherent
Like my brain’s just sputtering in place
Ever notice when it’s really dark outside?
Each bright star brings a feeling of hope
It’s calming like some peaceful transition
Where my eyes absorb the precious light
In that moment timing becomes precise
Rhythm is synced up with my tendencies
Standing in a realm filled with possibilities
Where everything has purpose and reason

No Ordinary Daisy
The daisy lay tattered
Among blades of grass taller than she
Her petals wilted and worn
Seemingly destroyed
Yet, she lay as if placed gently
The sun, perplexed
Gazed upon the daisy
Her stem curled
Her petals worn thin, nearly translucent
A few plucked from her body
Lay scattered nearby
The grass, imprinted with tiny hollows
Snaked away from the tiny daisy
The sun, with a full schedule
Had to get on with the business of illuminating the world
She made mental note to keep...

I want you to play with me
I want to give you what you need
Put a smile that I can see
I want you to play with me
Why don’t you touch me with your hands
Let's do things with no plans
Why can’t we just be
I want you to play with me

When we laughed and truly let go
I know how we can be

If you can't

Offer still holds
Just take my hand
One day you will see

darkly spinning hidden in the pain
ordained to fail I take a risk
seriously doubting myself but still
I come out in the open
gambling on myself
I'm all involved in my future
taking time to focus myself, I center
flirtatious disaster, I choose wisely how I handle myself
decadent hate, it hurts when we collide
indecent lust won't get the better of me
wrecked pride won't define my life
low self esteem causes collisions with fate
built upon sour dispostions it collapses
falling through time I look back...

Growth
That winter was such a captivating cold.
Behold the blankness of the world.
The weight of peace
silently thrashes and swirls.
My heart sheds it's stone.
After an eternity of being alone.
Stark white globs of snow.
Form an amazing assault
on flaunting trees below.
A treacherous path faces my determination.
A mix of frenzied fear and energized elation.
What lies ahead is caressed by clouds.
Softer become my raging doubts.
The right path is often the hardest.
A test.
And with grace and growth we are...

I've got poems in my laundry
Amongst my smelly socks
To I and all of sundry
They are a load of crock
Some are kind of shitty
Some I use for fuel
Some are hard and gritty
Some get over-ruled
I guess there are a few
That really hit the spot
Others make you spew
Left to die and rot
They'll never see the light
They don't give off good vibes
From me to you they're shite

know I have been
lax in some expressions
but as I am on
the stand in the court of love.
I gladly and freely

that I love you with
all my being.

there is nothing,

will change or

of the clock passes.

guess what?

ARRIVING AT THE NUDE RESORT
Baring our all,
we let clothes fall,
like leaves from trees
in autumn breeze.
Stepping into
unhindered view
of the body
naturally,....
without the drapes
that mask its shapes
when 'bout our way
everyday.
Let the fresh air
touch skin and hair
as well, later,
as pool water.
Everyone
being as one
in nakedness,
nature's undress.
