It is yester evening
a promise is given
earth is lifted
sun tilts solstice eyed
I virago
daughter of Spica and Vesta
my sable fur whirls
damp from my quill
in swan necked light
awoken from the belly of Draco
where I witnessed these worlds again
held by my ancestors
as a soul I chose
this gift of life
beholden to this chalice
please drink from it
sip, dance, sing
while you may

Pleasures
in the mystic, hedonistic
pleasures of my mind
imagining a realistic
moment out of time
calmly drifting, spirit lifting
conscious of just one
contemplating, elevating
about to become
like the air somehow where
no one can be seen
interacting as a fact in
someone else's dream
mystifying, time defying
no more ticktock too
no more lying, me or my-ing
becoming me in you -

Tease me my love
I do not mind;
take me to the edge
to see what I'll find.
Tickle me my love
I do not mind;
I love to laugh
and have a good time.
Humor me my love
I do not mind;
give me a riddle
the answer I will find.
Chase me my love
I do not mind;
I'll let you chase me;
so then you'll be mine.
Do ANYTHING you want
I really do not mind;
each moment we spend together
is exciting and one-of-a-kind.

Kindfulness
To hear the crunch of toast in my mouth.
The sound of a bee buzzing.
The chatter of morning birds.
To taste the mix of butter and honey on that toast.
And English Breakfast tea in my big tea stained cup.
To see the sun rising above trees dressed in their best outfits.
The birds flying somewhere in search of food or just a nice vantage point.
And to think, there was a time when all that beauty could not stop me from wanting anhilation.
What a crazy mixed up world.
Beauty and ugliness locked in a permanent dance.
...

Walk with Me
Walk with me
through these heathery hills
to the music in the breeze
and laughter in the rills,
walk with me.
Walk with me
to where the water falls
willingly willingly
to the bosom of the earth,
we shall join the sudden squalls
over this heathery sea,
walk with me.
Walk with me
in shelter of my coat
my fine warm coat, see
it covers you, toes to throat,
you shall not stumble
on this rocky road,

STILL WONDERING WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE?

mind spins and
my imagination goes
on an adventure when
I read your poetry and
see your picture.

would it be like to
look into the eyes that
see into a creative world?
WHAT
would it be like to
gently kiss the fingers
that produces magic
from a keyboard?

would it be like to gently
kiss the lips that pronounce
the words being received
from your Muse?

would it be like to spend
hours hearing the voice

The Leader of the Pack (Styxian)
He probably doesn’t think he is
I can see him laughing
Even though I’ve never met him
The unofficial leader of the pack
His poems, poetic masterpieces
The rare times he writes erotica?
It’s like nobody’s business
Even I blush

Her light shines brighter than the sun
But she holds it close to her chest
Not wanting to outshine
Even though she does
She stands on the fringe of shadows
No need for over exposure
“I'll just be over here in my little corner
spillin' what I'm feelin'
and doin' what I do”

Her experiences onto her pages
And yours
With equal measure
Thoughtful, supportive, patient and kind
