It's another year in my life
It's me again the story teller of unspoken words ✍️. 111 It's here at this moment in my life with another year in my life, coming that I am truly grateful and thankful and blessed. To be able to see another day in my life. For tomorrow is a blessing for me, on my 66 birthday. 🎉🎂 For sure it's on this day I silently reflect upon my life, as I journey and travel and walk the last four years of my own life. FOR let's go back to 2002 when I had a spinal infusion and I was unable to walk, 😭 or stand on my own two feet alone. 😔 IT was that moment in...

I Don't Know
I don't know if it's just the way I feel.
The way I have been,or slowly heal.
I don't know if it's something I have seen.
But sometimes,I wish for something I've never been.
Yearning to feel those memories once more.
I don't know if I just fell on the floor.
Or if I had t actually walk out the door.
Maybe it's something I drank or ate.
Maybe it's destiny or fate.
I don't know if I ate something wrong.
But I feel broken like a love song.
I don't see if it's something I drank.
I want to be frank,not blank. ...

SUDDENLY IT CAME TO ME (Wed., Jan. 8th, 2025, 1:00am, Palm Springs, California)
suddenly
it came to me
in flowing streams
of gleaming liquid veils unfurled
a sacred truth s secret hidden
in these words
within my being
within my soul
whispered given
to by and from
someone something
some previously ungrasped unknown
higher ineffable power
somewhere far beyond
this earth this sun
these feelings thoughts
these thin ink lined words
arisen...

Out of the Bottle
Out of the bottle
Feel a stirring in my soul
Rhythm pulse under blood vessels
It’s been there since I was a tot
First 45 was Mother Mary
Along with Taveres
Heaven’s missing an angel
Dancing through my teens with
Who Doors and Aerosmith
With some Jimi mixed in
A new decade approaches and
It’s the 80’s on the stage
Clashed with The Who and Santana
Down at JFK
Went from Genesis all the way to Peter Gabriel
Call the Police and watch the Go Go’s
Rush meet Joe Walsh in the...

My birthday breakdown last year...
My last breakdown....
...was my birthday 2023.
My father would have been 86.
I turned 49. I knew him less
than 6 months of my adult life.
My mother had kept us apart...
told each of us the other was dead...
this was before the Internet boomed.
Before we all had cell phones. All those lost years. Then he died. We shared a birthday.
We never got to share that birthday together. So, every year since '97 that day has haunted me. It was nothing special as a child...no presents...no cake! It COULD HAVE BEEN so special if Dad had...

New Year/New Problems
I try not to get consumed by hate
some may think it's a choice
but no
it's a bunch of little things
you do what you're supposed to
work hard and pray to God
then you lose a friend
and then a pet
the bathroom floor needs fixed
the fucking repair man does a bad job
and you really don't need that shit
so what do you know?
you got a feeling
but you're not allowed to show
it's like taking two steps forward
only to get hit ten steps back
whenever you fix one thing
then...

Never Never Mate
The one I missed is this:
Grey fog soft swaddling rolling orchard hills,
Last yellow-brown apples dropping to bless the mice, in wet orange leaves
Salt foam sliding like a veil, lifted, falling, rising over rolling blue deep;
Heat shimmer dragonfly wing tilting in the wink of a golden, blue-eyed dog;
My never-was Mate is the coffee fleck of Showy Milkweed seed,
Borne cloudward flying over the valley on vanilla silkwing steed;
He is a rough, great trusty rope,
Coiled in the stern,
Rough, comfort like whiskers on my...

In foster care...
At thirteen, I was in foster care...
out in the country with a kind older couple
named Hank and Ellen who never abused me.
I was fed three times a day! I always finished my plate.
I had a room of my own...first time!
They bought me new clothes that fit me
and they were always clean and smelled outdoorsy.
Did I mention they never abused me?
I could run and play. Stare at clouds. I helped
collect eggs from the chicken coop. I had a kitten named Tiny and I even had a favorite tree!!! Nice!
NO ONE HIT ME OR TOUCHED ME THERE! Nicer! ...

The walk home...
There's a cool breeze...
chilling me to the bone...
it's gonna rain tonight...
I'm walking home cause -
I've only pennies in my pocket.
I just want my lumpy bed.
Severe weather just ahead.
I know the way all too well.
I've walked these streets...
...for a long long time...
to just the edge of the ghetto -
at the start of rampant crime!
I'll sleep good tonight...
If I make it home.
I've got a pack of ramen...
and some cheese crackers...
waiting home patiently...for me.
...where i wanna be... ...

If I were a mirror...
the repeated abuse shattered me
into five known fragments -
all created to serve and protect!
Paula was born to an evil bitch
named Margaret after the actress
who played the wicked witch
of the west in the Wizard of Oz.
By age four, her mother was with
an evil counterpart who raped and
beat Paula who could do no right.
Unknowingly Paula created Angel.
Angel tried to be perfect and always
anticipated the needs, wants and
digusting desires of the adults around her -
to minimize...

To a beautiful day
Let's not waste that day
By sleep in
If we sleep in we will
Not sleep at night
So we must enjoy this day
That our father gave to us
Here on earth
yes we are having the Summer
Here on earth
that our father create for us
With his holy hands
Also We took a look in the sky
And there was no sign of rain
We don't like the rain at all
Because when it is raining
There is lighting and thunder
The noise of lightning and thunder
Wake
us up when we are...

One-way ticket...
Why should I care for the new year?
Another cycle of the same celestial dance
spiraling through familiar constellations.
Same faces in the same places,
their conversations a recitation of a well-worn script.
Why should I care for the new year?
When the clock's hands circle back
to touch the same numbers they brushed a moment ago.
And the calendar's pages, thin and brittle
fall like leaves from the same tree.
Why should I care for the new year...
When the same hues paint the dawn
