Runs Away
there's got to be a place
there's got to be a time
there's got to be a way
there's got to be a rhyme
which runs away with you
which runs away with me
which carries us within
where we each can see
we are all adrift
afloat upon a sea
loving thoughts our lift
to peace and harmony
with who we think we are
with who we've come to be
and all those whom we meet
afloat upon the sea
invisible, unseen
the atmosphere we breathe
from the day we're born
until the day we leave

Foolishness
I went there tomorrow
Before I stole yesterday
Filled the ice with water
And went back to the future
There I saw nothing walking on the sea
I killed a bee and filled it with honey
Sold it to a pig I saw moving a mountain
Got a cheque of a million
Didn’t bounce when dropped
Ripped in two
Yet, no money found
I was angry as root number three
And broke like a younger me
So I went to the baker for a loan
There I got a pound
With my pound, I made a bet
I lost it all without a sweat
Now I hope to...

vanished aircraft
The Vanished Aircraft
The plane that disappeared some years ago
with 290 passengers didn't fall into the sea
but landed at the back of the moon, where
The landscape was surprisingly lush if pale as
there are no red roses on the planet.
There was life on the planet, different in
shape and form and easy to tame and taste
like chicken, and disappeared as the Kiwi bird,
or almost as it was the plane's passengers
the only source of meat.
But there are plenty of edible fruits and vegetables
with no name yet; not to forget

Our Way The Only Way
Love is about sharing
Isn't about dictating
& taking
Allowing the voice
of another to have
an opinion as to how
they might like to see
events unfold
Big steps ahead yet feeling
constantly without a say

fearful of you

Remembering Utopia
Take me back to the spot where we first kissed,
Overlooking the city right before us. The mist
And clouds part, making way to the city lights
That still twinkle within the distance. No heights
Or limits can stop us now. This is utopia where
We do not have to think of anything and the air
Is fresh like the breezy ocean waves. Nothing
From the past or dystopian world can ever cling
To us while making us feel like we are drowning

Reaching For Me
The time is coming and I have to go.
You understand me more than I can know.
But through it all I never look away.
I'll never trust someone like you anyway.
I am here to fight for what is right.
Though I don't quite know what that is.
The darkness bites and gives a fright.
In searing white, I plan to give.
Burning pain inside.
A pain I cannot hide.
Creatures of the night.
Swarm around the light.
Heavens will divide.
And I see a hand reach for me.
Victims terrorized.
For your wounded pride. ...

Rage and bloodlust for death.
Danger!

Radical furies ahead.

Storming with darkness inside.
Hours!

This land in search of a fight.
Cosmic wars, celestial bodies.
Crashing into the sky.
All for one, they're coming for me.
All lined up to die.
This is the end of Avalon.
The war for Megiddo's plains.

The march to Heaven's gates.

Utopia
A place that is somewhere between heaven and hell.
When you close your eyes you are under that spell
Because it is a place so charming. A place where you
Can get lost and never come back from. You slip into
Some new dimension and reality. A new dream world
That you have always wanted to be a part of. It will curl
All around you, keeping you safe from your shadows
And lurking demons. A place where no one truly knows
Your deep secrets. You run through fields upon fields
Of wildflowers while never worrying about the shields

UTOPIA, PARADISE LOST
Utopia, my Paradise lost
is of my waking dreams
they are made of many things
of love and life and laughter
they are of songs heard in the gentle breeze
perfection shining through fluffy clouds
dappled shadows on forest floors
warbling birds and answering twitters
gardens in spots throughout the field
roses and lilacs and frangipanis
lavender, tulips and hibiscus
with rainbow coloured bobbing blooms
brooks that babbles through the land
neat cottages with white picket fence
no fumes of benzine just gentle...
