The Thief In The Shadows
Its hard to live a normal life around my loved ones, they dont even know what you did to me that day.
My husband asks what's wrong...all I can say is, I don't feel good.
But... you know what you did to me, more importantly...I know what you did to me.
Then I'm expected to live my life like some kind of hero in my own story.
Well, I will never be a hero, but ill tell you what I will be...
I'll be the girl who smiles in the face of demons, I'll love like an unquenchable fire when it feels like the whole world is pissing on me.

The Screams of the Unheard
In the depths of Africa's heart, where the sun dips into the sand
A cry echoes through the land, a lament of a people in pain
A plea for justice, for equality, for an end to the pain
But the world turns a blind eye, and the cries remain in vain
The continent weeps, her children oppressed, enslaved, and slain
Their voices silenced by the chains of oppression, their futures stolen away
Their cultures stripped, their heritage lost, their identity in disarray
Their cries for help drowned out by the laughter of the oppressors' sway

this controversy, of whether she should be
in the competition or not was undoubtedly ...

A man and his thoughts
As I sit here
n strum my guitar
My mind drifts off
to somewhere
faaaarr
Away
the noise tuned out,
same old thoughts
seem to come
around,
in an old familiar
waaaay
What if my life ,
had taken a different turn
N I never came to know
these lessons that I've learned,
If I'd said yes
perhaps I'd be
like all the rest,
then again
I take pride in
that I don't fit in

Nova, Far
I didn't want to write a love poem
It was more like trying
to put flowers into the empty pots
that dot my life
Filling those spaces with lovely things
(Thoughts of you)
and hope for the days
to burst full
My words may seem
like simple copper coins
tossed, towards your luxurious fountain
But they will still shine
when deep within your well
of patience and faith
And I will keep trying
so that they add up
to a ticket for flight
for your return
During these uncertain times ...

Killer Queen
There was this girl,the fairest of them all.
Boys would swoon and begin to fall.
And all the girls wanted to be her.
They say she wandered the halls.
Students gossiping,hiding behind walls.
When the silence fell once again,all eyes on her.
She went through this every single day.
She just wanted to be understood and keep the insecurities away.
People would whisper from far away.
As she walked down the hallway astray.
But behind those emerald colored eyes.
There was something deep down,something wise.

I wish
I could into a deep blue sea dive
Have the flowing flood of tears subside
Let my smile surface and revive
And my woes would ever cease to survive..

Love, the elegant antithesis to the irrefutably, villainous perturbations of Hate!

innate characteristics Love is
perceptibly very instinctive
and naturally simply reassuring. Hate,
however, in obviously and undeniably
so an unarguable contrast, is fittingly
rather markedly, unquestionably and
unrelentingly, distinctly prescriptive!
For unlike Love whose general remit
and actually voluntary commitment,
simply is to evidently literally and as
well equally thoroughly inspire, fully
generate and sustain wherever and
whenever possible...

your ancestral home, of course, isn’t
Britain or even England it’s true;
but all the same most of what has for
centuries, and unchangingly, is still
rather self-servingly, hubristically
and in the most egocentrically
privileged fashion, hoarded
in, and across the United
Kingdom actually, and
lawfully belongs to
you! Everything -
from quite literally really millions of your
indigenous countries national artefacts
prized and very priceless...
