Spring = Misery
Allergic sickness
Springtime weeds, grass, mold, pollen

a woman's glory
walk with me down the path of a woman
it is well worn by her sisters before her
gatherers and healers they are sacred
a woman's wisdom is her glory
she is a nurturer of truth
gathering strength from nature
it blesses her beauty, knows her kindness
the great redwoods shelter and provide her comfort
deeply rooted in the Earth
they aren't washed away with the first storm
true to themselves they remain till springtime
when the first green shoots poke through the soil
revealing new growth and renewal

It's my Jefferson Airplane life
We're rounding the corner of 79th Street
Onyx and I
Making sure the coast is clear
She doesn't like busses
A bus stop is there
I could avoid the stop but...
She needs to get used to them
They're everywhere here
She's getting better
This isn't small town Texas
An adopted hound
We've had her close to 4 months now
It's early morning
Wind is calm and not as cold as usual
I'm thinking about poetry and DUP
All that it takes to write here now
Latest chapter is bots and privacy
Then I see some...

Fête
Jam and scones
Strawberry creams
Sunny skies
Lavender dreams
The lawn a carpet
Buttercup feet
Flowers in bloom
Smell so sweet
Stalls set up
Village fête
Burnt charcoal
Paper plate
Dad's and beers
Mom's straw hat
Father Mark
Stops for a chat
Girls and boys
Dance in the sun
Bales of hay
The days been fun

Naked Pink
Within a single day's blink.
Fuschia buds blossom
an exquisitely pale pink.
Impatient branches wear
their now exotic veil.
The leaves felt erotic
throbbing in the gale.
Wind ruffled petals,
Glisten with dew.
The stagnant empty winter
is now a voluptuous floral view.
The naked pink will call to you.

The Rising...
Easter is a fabulous time of year
Spring is in the air
Sun shines bright
Flowers bloom
It's feeling fresh
But something isn't right
For someone is dying, lying on a cross
He is in hell and no one can help
He is carrying the burden
The weight of our sins
But with death comes life
A sense of beginning
Renewal
Salvation
Starting over
The best part of Easter is...
Knowing he has risen
Born again
A man you can't put down
After your resurrection
You reigned for forty days - ...

Easterlies
A lone crow perched on a breeze bobbing bough
clutching it like a floatation device
with every bit of its feathered know-how
foundering on high like a sacrifice,
to Eurus, and full afternoon sun,
blasting glory to every dancing tree
in sky blue by the cerulean ton,
and freshest barometric liberty!
Soon enough, the crow abandoned its post
to flotsam away on knackered wings
perhaps seeking a branch, not so utmost,
or to scratch the grass for edible things.
Fare thee well, oh breeze...

lilac kisses
spring is a flirtatious vixen
eager to sow her precious seeds
& experience a world barely awakening
she dares burst forth
...so full of life...
while snow still blankets the earth
coy little crocuses shoving impatiently through
splashes of purples...yellows...& blues
exuberant & anxious to show her potential
she flaunts her prominent belly
glowing with her fertile beauty
as she births flora & fauna alike
a new year has been born
with all her children gathered at her feet
decadently spawning every color...
eager to sow her precious seeds

she dares burst forth

No compositions by Vivaldi
I was born in the twilight of centuries,
when the sun, tired from its journey,
sinks into the golden horizon
and the moon emerges shy and silvery.
O nature, wise and ancient,
you owe me the sighs of the trees,
and the murmur of the dancing brook.
The scents of wild flowers.
You owe me the whisper of the wind
that caresses the leaves and hair.
And the embrace of the ground, firm and welcoming,
that supports my uncertain steps.

bloodred
bloodreds, screaming haem
your fragmented petals
in much unelaborated
causal detachments
clotted brittle murky margins
you see
all what I see
is your oozing core
from leathery
remnantals
your frozen rosaceous memories
explode [hardened boundaries
of death’s inching in bitter teeth]
in a thawing resurface towards
the boldening dreamt realms
a bloody bleeding revolution
aggregates your pain-scatter
in an inner-calling coherence

In From The Fields
I wake in early morn
The wee hours before the dawn
Before the rooster crows
And am out when first birds sing
Rabbits dart
As March hares will
Across the roads
Across the lawns
Bedewed
And quiet lumed
By pale moon
But its April now
And spring's well in
I love the clear, light days of spring
Not heavy with the winter's cold
Or oppressive heat that summer brings
Oh, but spring!
