WIND MOUNTAIN MORNING ('A CHEWENA SONG of ASSIMILATION') 7-4-2000, on Wind Mountain, near Tres Piedras, New Mexico
sunrise reveals
pink bands of clouds
stretching out above
wind mountain
out over this vast
glorious horizon
a continuous flow
of far off
mountain lines
that rise and fall
in distant shadows
of blue gray slopes
silent song
of earths great circle
surrounds me here
awakening
all across
throughout
this vibrant sea
of boundless land
in gently rolling hills
and plains
of cactus...

IN SHADOWS (1-17-2003, 4:00am, Galveston Island, Texas)
tree shadows
are spirit expressions
reflections of trees
peaceful souls
silent shadows
passed through
along my way
sensed in every
fleeting shade
which falls
upon my skin
or on this
passing road below
sweet embrace
subtle touch
some gentle love
unknown
in each
of those brief
moments
i realize
for a second
how everything
in this world
is touching
something else
as earth orbits
in silent grace
around constant sun
with such...

DESERT SERENITY 2 (3-19-1989, dawn at 'OH MY GOD' natural hot springs in the Badlands of the Anza Borrego D
i am this
desert
serenity
rich cacti dawns
hushed
pastel song
suspended here
within its all
encompassing peace
swallowed up
down here beneath
this still sleeping
but gently awakening
skys above
blue gray wide
stirring yawn
which ever so
gradually
soon stretches beyond
squinting pink eye
of still sunken
unseen suns
slow silent
new mornings
radiantly illumined arising
as new day
comes delicately on
quietly stretching out
beyond ...

When was the last time you looked at up at the stars in the deepness of the heavenly skies, and thought how much you wish you could fly out, and touch them within the palms of your hands. When was the last time or moment away from the stress of the world. That you felt even more alive like an intricately woven fabric, created and wrap in a blanket of peace and serenity to accept the fact. That it not only alter you but yet it changed you from the inside out, teaching you to appreciate that which in life. Is free to explore as it cost you nothing to step out the doors. Carbonated Water pt. 2
The air is a festering festival of frenetic physics;
It rattles like a pair of maracas
Ceaselessly and silently screaming
And at a young age, you can hear the high pitched whine
Of what?
The air!
The air. It is suffocating and it is invigorating
It is wild and wonderful
It is insane.
It is always screaming
I do not know why.
Then, of course, we breathe the air
And we do not have the Ocean to be our depth
Instead, we are provided a spectacular and far reaching disply of the opposite:
The celestial sphere.
Stars...

Audeamus~ Sanctuary Of Dreams & Love... Marring The Monotony of Days & Nights
the stringy~ stricken jaded &
faded lights of today’s dawn
is further in the paling strides-
the reds of the tile right in the
front yards, of house nearby
are in the poorest anaemic pallor
of a screaming lifelessness-
[-the cherubic talkative sparrows
are in the vanishing.. to a distant
nowhere of rude fatherless lands..
those many tiny
here & there mushrooming offsprings
are in an abruptive silence- of mass
burials.. in these heartless junkyards
full of hardened or filmy...
faded lights of today’s dawn

"Good morning day"...
(THE DAY)
"How are you today?"
(ME)
I'm fine as I in bed,
Cozy lay...
"Haha"... "Yes, I'm a sleepy head"...
I don't want to get up as I start to shiver
your day is so chilly
I hope I don't get a nasty fever
I'm trying to think silly
but it's hard to as you wintry me deeper...
Makes me sleepy as I try avoiding the cool floor
Being so exhausting cold
it's not easy to simply ignore
As I wish I had someone to hold
They'd keep me warm and more
...

Heavenly Handprinted Puddle
I shall attempt to explain,
Before my time.
To what has molded,
In stagnant growth.
----
The clouds gathered 'round,
To absorb,
Their view from above.
Tempted to fall for the green of the ground.
Forbidden, less not of the sky.
It stretched out its hand,
But to press of gentle,
Imprinting it's fingers light caress.
A touch left behind,
As the memories puddle.
Isolated reservoirs.
Collective in gather,
To praise in replication.
Heavenly handprinted puddle.
...
Before my time.
