Heavenly Handprinted Puddle

I shall attempt to explain,
Before my time.
To what has molded,
In stagnant growth.
----
The clouds gathered 'round,
To absorb,
Their view from above.

Tempted to fall for the green of the ground.
Forbidden, less not of the sky.

It stretched out its hand,
But to press of gentle,
Imprinting it's fingers light caress.

A touch left behind,
As the memories puddle.
Isolated reservoirs.

Collective in gather,
To praise in replication.
Heavenly handprinted puddle.

I found my bide,
In such that pond.
Floating to get by.

The catalyst of stagnation.
To bloom upon the surface.

And in time,
Divinity's path will lead by.

Her soles gliding through the grass.
Blades that smile and dance.
Followed heel to white hem.

The sky,
In human form.
Goddess to observe the wind.

She passes by my puddle.
Rippled in her reflection.
Her shadow passing by over vibrant orange.
Dull to her colors in compare.

The lotus on the lily breathes open,
Worthy to earn a glance.
As the wind whispers into her ear.
Kissing her neck in distraction.

And the algae is blessed,
By her brief passing presence,
As it lived to never forget.

Unworthy of her meeting.
Soft unheard greeting.
Joy, all around.

Footprints left behind,
Beside the handprint of the sky.
Falling for the rain.

Cleansing.
Purity.
Attempts to wash away.

But the memory lingers.
Upon the site,
In which presence honored.

Unworthy algae to the wind.
Always staring up.
Ever changing oil painting.

Star canvas.
To grace this bloom.
As i can only stare up and worship.

I dare not reach the hem,
Less it stain from my grasp.

But the heaven in my sight,
Is more than i ever could imagine.
Of all the waters surface she should pass.

It ripples in the center,
To dance gently on the surface,
Knowing we are of the same earth.

And that is to me,
Touching,
That i may even be granted life in the same time as her existence.
