History is a Poor Record Keeper.
I miss things I know I shall never witness
But also thank the heavens that destruction will be missed
I switch on the television
If I were Le Prince I would be livid
Thinking of how my life ended
On those tracks as I went to patent
Damn Edison
So called 'father of cinema' is such a dick
But as I sit
I appreciate the efforts
Of the devoted scientist
I appreciate the research of those like Jared Diamond
How location and opportunity are what ensures dominance

I have observed a bearded man in several areas of the ship
dressed in woodsmans clothes and writing in a notebook.
He appears to be a hologram. Some of the crew and cadets
have been studying different eras in poetry on the holodeck
for Poetry Writing Month. I suspect that this is where he
originated. I have scanned his image into the ship's encyclopedia,

I want you all to take more than a glance and really look at this picture.
LOOK AT HER.. She is a Badass warrior!
This lady is the face you don't see! Her and all of the front line soldiers battling a war WE are going to win.
She has over 35 years in the medical field and is the person you see when you walk through the Emergency Room doors.
Take a good look at her battle gear. These people are our soldiers damn it! Training for years and with a lifetime of knowledge.
She is the human being who weeds out the bullshit drama and has to make an educated decision of...

Welcome Home, Commander
So like, I roll up into this cave on one my usual hiking trips taking shelter from a brief storm. I walked by this cave a lot of times but some sort of weird smell emits from it so never stopped to check it out. This time I felt solace in the shelter so the smell was of little concern. I prefer to be dry like a true hiker. Did I mention I work as a post man?
The cave looks like any other cave. Aside from the smell it had all the creature comforts a Neanderthal would appreciate. Stone couches, a love seat made of mastodon bones, and a California king size bed made of oak with a goose...
