Beam Me Up Scotty
Blindsided by flying monkeys extorting your
mind with their self-made crack. Mooching
on fears with a nod and wink. Something strange
came my way unrestrained wearing a crown too
heavy for their head. Thinking Cream of Wheat
is Crème brûlée and I'm thanking a wizard
on the loose from the asylum. Spooning my
chowder with ibuprofen thanking from the
wrong end of a memory stick. "Beam me up,
Scotty."

My Day with Luigi Mangione
It was a day I’d never forget
me and my homie Luigi
on the 4th of December
from approximately 6am to 6pm
fixed up my old Monte Carlo
drove from New York to Florida
met a few musicians
joined their band
I played guitar
while Luigi was on drums
playing for hours on end
when done we helped clean up
met a couple of nice ladies
I don’t know what got into my bud
but he said we should fly to Paris
take the ladies to the Eiffel Tower
I said what the heck
drank some whine and ate some bread
luigi wanted to drive...

Estoy en carro prestado
Porque el tren ya me habia dejado
Muchos fueron los años
Que solo encontraba engaños
Hasta que un galán secuestro mi corazón
Y para casarme, me ha dado buena razón.
Pasaré los dias junto a él
Y por siempre le sere muy fiel.
En los tiempos Buenos y los tiempos malos
Depende si le hago la comida o se mete en chaos.

A Valuable Lesson
So I was at the public library here in town the other day. I live in a very small town by the way. Just returning some books my kids had borrowed. Nothing to make a big deal about you’d think.
After putting the books on the return desk, I decided to go over to the autobiography section just to take a gander. I start looking for musicians in particular. Ones I don’t have or haven’t read.
Off on the other side of the library there was a group having a meeting. It’s audible what they’re saying, but it’s by no means yelling at the top of their lungs. It sounds...

A Valuable Lesson
So I was at the public library here in town the other day. I live in a very small town by the way. Just returning some books my kids had borrowed. Nothing to make a big deal about you’d think.
